A/N: So, this is another random Imagine that I wrote on the Owl City fanpage I admin (now manage) on Facebook! Enjoy. :)

I wasn't really a party girl/boy, I didn't mind going to them, but there was something strange about this party I had been invited to and it didn't seem safe, but all of my friends were going, so why couldn't I?

I was taking my time in getting ready. I'd taken a shower, dried my hair, and was just starting to style my hair now. I made my hair wild and exciting, certainly something different this time! I wanted to give myself a new look for just one night!

I slipped the new black dress/black and white tuxedo on and carefully examined myself in the mirror. I must admit, I look fabulous! I thought as I twirled around slowly to look at myself from all angles. I was going to impress some people tonight! Oh yeah!!!

"Are you sure you want to go inside, Y/N?" My father asked me and I nodded.

"Of course! All of my friends are going and it looks heaps fun! I'll be fine, don't worry." I quickly gave my dad a confident nod and then got out of the car. Walking to the door was actually quite intimidating, this wasn't a little kids pool party...this was the big leagues. The teens party.

"Welcome!" The host of the party invited me in and when I stepped foot inside, the smell of alcohol filled my nose. Oh no, maybe this wasn't such a good idea.. I thought glancing around nervously. But I didn't turn around to walk outside; I just walked deeper into the crowd of teenagers.

People were dancing and laughing, it was all a lot of fun. The music was loud; the lights were flashing and I tried to push all of my worries aside. It isn't every day you get invited to a big party like this one!

"Hey guys! We have a special guest! Meet Mr. Owl City himself!" The host, who happened to be a major Owl City fan, squealed and pointed over at the man who had what looked like a whole DJ set up going. It wasn't his though, the host of this party was 'rich', so it was there's. I couldn't help but grin; I was a pretty big fan of Owl City, so this was going to be interesting! Adam looked around shyly and smiled, but most of the people here didn't seem to care. It was clear that Adam, the singer that I adored, was nervous and unsure about being here at the party.

"How did you get him to come to your party?" I asked the host and they replied cheerfully, but they sounded annoyed as they had to shout over the loud music in order for me to hear them.

"A friend of a friend of my dad's knows Adam so he asked him to come here and do a little gig for the party! He's gonna blow the house down! Woo!!!"

No, everyone here who's drunk will blow the house up if you aren't careful, I thought when I saw some drunken guys playing with a fire-lighter in the back corner.

I thought about leaving the party, but no, I couldn't just leave. I stood in the corner by myself. I'd lied to my father...none of my friends were at this party. Maybe it was a bad idea to be here...maybe I should leave this party.

But when I looked over and saw Adam start to perform, I had to stay around. I loved Owl City, so I wasn't going to waste the opportunity of me watching him perform. I hesitated, but soon enough I made my way over and stood near where he was playing.

I began dancing and basically just trying to have a good time. Adam performed a few songs and then he just walked into one of the other rooms. I frowned, wondering why he would walk away from the...but then again; I didn't really need to think about it.

Adam was an introvert, he wasn't all into parties. It was obvious he loved performing; I'd seen the videos on YouTube, but with all the noise, teenagers and drunks, I could completely understand him.

I decided to follow him, for one, he was the only person I knew...you know, somewhat. And, secondly; he wasn't drunk like what so many other people were. I found him out the front of the house, in fact he was a few blocks down the street by the time I caught up to him. The music was still pulsating and could easily be heard from where we were.

Adam looked startled when I sat down beside him. "Oh, hey, sorry...I thought you were one of those drunk guys...you aren't drunk, right?" Adam asked cautiously, seeming to not want to offend me.

"No," I shook my head and gave him a smile, "I'm not. Can I just say, it's an honour to be sitting with you right now, Mr. Young." I grinned, trying to contain my excitement.

"Please, call me Adam." Adam smiled and looked at the ground. He seemed deep in thought, so I decided not to disturb him. I sat in silence waiting for him to speak. After a few minutes, Adam broke the silence. "Why do you think people party like that?"

"Party like what?" I asked before I could stop myself. That was probably a pretty stupid question, I knew what Adam had meant, but...you know, being star-struck and everything, it was hard to not speak before I thought about what I wanted to say.

"Getting as drunk as they possibly can, drugs, really loud music...I don't get it.." Adam spoke in a thoughtful tone. That was just like Adam; he didn't drink, didn't smoke...he was probably the best person at the party aside from me.

"I don't know, people just find that fun I suppose." I spoke quietly, not really knowing why to say. Adam smiled and looked at me.

"You don't seem to be the party type. Hey, why don't you and I just go to a nice café or something? The loud music is getting to me. Plus, I was told I would only be needed for the first part of the party...and I don't think anyone will notice that I'm gone." Adam chuckled and smiled even more. How could I say no? Which of course, I couldn't.

"You know what, Adam? I'd love to." I smiled casually and we both stood up at the same time. We both walked down the street quietly. Upon arriving at the local café, Adam opened the door for me and let me inside first. "Thanks!" I grinned and walked inside. When we were seated, Adam and I began talking. Then, Adam said one thing that got me really excited.

"I'm having a concert tomorrow, wanna come?"

"Are you kidding me?! Yes please!!!" I shouted in joy and everyone in the café at the time stared at me. But I didn't care.

Adam handed me a VIP pass and I squeaked. It was so happy!!! I couldn't wait to tell all of my friends! I seriously don't think this night could have ended more perfectly.
