A/N: So, this was another Imagine I wrote in the Owl City fan page I manage! Enjoy :)

Oh, rainy days...I didn't mind them, but why couldn't it be sunny? Seriously! It was the weekend, I wanted to do something! Anything! I didn't care what it was, just as long as I wasn't stuck inside.

I just stared out the window. Oh what fun this is, I thought sarcastically. I wandered into the living room and began watching TV, but there were no good shows on. The only interesting one was about some drag queen, but that was the most boring show to ever air! What can I possibly do?! I'll die from boredom!

I wandered into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. "Maybe I should have a nap?" I talked to my reflection, and if course, it didn't talk back. I sighed, if only my friends weren't all busy today! We could have had some major fun!

There was a knock at the door and it made me jump. Who would be coming to my house? It had to be the delivery guy. Then again, I didn't order anything...

I opened the door to find some drenched man standing at with his arms crossed, trying to keep himself warm. "H-hello. Sorry to disturb you, but my car has broken down and I was wondering if I could maybe borrow a container or something to get some fuel?" He asked quietly, his voice shaking as he shivered from the cold.

I couldn't just leave him to walk to the petrol station in the rain. "I do have a container, but look; it’s raining cats and dogs, so why don't you come inside and dry yourself off." I opened the door a little more and he looked stunned.

"You mean that? Thank you so much!" His grin grew wider and he walked inside, leaving wet patches along the floor. I ran to grab a towel for him and he instantly started to dry himself off when I handed it to him.

"Sorry if I'm imposing." He spoke quietly as he hung the towel back up.

"It's fine." I frowned slightly. Why did he look and sound familiar? "Excuse me...but...is your name...Adam Young?" Yes I took a huge stab in the dark with that one. What if it wasn't him? I would have made myself look like an idiot..

But his answer made me jump for joy. "I am! How'd you know? Are you a fan of Owl City?"

"Yes!!!" I smiled hugely. This was amazing!!! Adam Young had ran out of petrol and came to my doorstep?! This had to be the best day ever!

"Let me make you a coffee or hot chocolate." I offered and I led Adam to the kitchen. He was still soaked, but at least it was better than nothing. My main concern now was that he would catch a cold.

"Thank you. That would be great. And would you mind if it was a hot chocolate please? Nothing like a nice hot chocolate on a cold, rainy day!" Adam chuckled and I laughed along with him. Adam seemed like a nice person, so I was honoured to have him in my home.

"It isn't often that someone famous rocks up at my doorstep." I said jokingly as I began to make him a hot chocolate. Shoot, maybe that was the wrong thing to say.. Did I just make myself sound stupid in front of him again?

Adam was silent for quite a while before replying. "I can see that that would be true, but please, don't think of me as someone famous. Think of me as...a friend." Adam smiled and I set the hot chocolate down in front of him. "Thanks." He instantly picked the cup up and took a small sip.

"You're welcome." I was still thinking about how he had said to think of him as a friend. Me? Friends with Adam Young? My friends wouldn't believe me. What if Adam and I did become friends? The very thought was exciting and thrilling! Maybe, just maybe I could be friends with him!

As Adam finished his hot chocolate, he sighed. "I really should be getting a move on. I'm going to be late for a sound check."

"Sound check?" I asked curiously. What would he be doing a sound check for?

"Yeah, I've got a concert I'm doing not far from here. Luckily it's indoors. You didn't hear about it?" Adam looked up at me and smiled. Why was he smiling if I hadn't heard about his concert for? It didn't make sense. I thought he would have been worried, because if I didn't know, surely other people wouldn't know.

"Um...no, I hadn't. Not until you just told me then." I tried to contain my excitement. Would Adam invite me to the concert because of my kindness towards him? Turns out I was right.

"You know, you can come to the concert if you'd like to?" Adam shuffled around in his pockets and pulled out a card. He handed it to me and a grin broke out on my face.

"Thank you so much!" I was so excited! This would be my first Owl City concert and I was a VIP!!! This was so cool!

"Oh, I don't know your name." Adam held his hand out to shake it. I smiled at the gesture.

"My name is Y/N." I shook his hand in a friendly manner. Today; even though it was rainy and gloomy, Adam had to rock up at my door step and brightened my day. "You know, this will be my first Owl City concert."

"Really? Well come on! Come to the sound check; see how it's all done! It'll be a good experience for you. I'm sure my fellow tour members would be thrilled to meet a fan." Adam stood up and I couldn't stop grinning. He had seriously meant that, I mean, how lucky can I be? I'm a HootOwl and have just been invited to an Owl City sound check and concert, which I happened to be invited by Mr. Owl City himself! I can only say one word...wow.

I glanced outside and noticed that the rain had lessened, in fact, it had almost stopped. With a wide grin, I ran and got the petrol tank. "Quick, Adam! If we go now while the rain has lessened, we'll get to the sound check on time!"

"Good idea! Let's go!" And with that, Adam and I were both out the door.

***

I watched Adam from the VIP area. This concert was a blast! The music, his voice, everything! I was one lucky person! His concert would be over soon, and then I would get to go backstage and have a nice meal with Adam and all his tour members.

I couldn't believe that this had happened to me, but personally, I'm so very glad that it did. It was a one in a million chance...I just happened to be the chosen one.
