A/N: So, another Imagine I wrote on the Owl City page I manage; enjoy. :)

In this Imagine; F/N means 'First Name', and L/N means 'Last Name'.

I had a school presentation today, and it was the last day of school! Why did they have to do this to us? We were supposed to be relaxing on the last day of school, not doing some stupid presentation!

I had my slideshow ready and my speech was folded up tightly in my hand. It was so nerve-wrecking.. And one-by-one people were doing their presentations.

So many people had done their presentations well, while other you could tell had done it either the night before or this morning. Why were people disorganized?

"Y/N, you're up." The teacher mumbled, unimpressed by everyone else's presentations.

I began to panic. What if my presentation wasn't good enough? I wanted to get good grades in school; unlike most of the students in my year level.

I slowly stood up and prepared my slideshow. I stood out the front and waited...and waited...

No one was being silent, what was the point? So I just began anyway. "Um...hello...today my presentation will be on...um.." I stuttered through a quarter of my presentation, but then the phone in the class went off. I paused as the teacher picked it up and I waited.

The teacher put the phone down and looked directly at me. "Apparently you're wanted in the Principles office, Y/N."

I heard a loud 'ooh' run through everyone in the class. Had I done something wrong? I gathered all my stuff in my bag and walked down to the Principles office. When I walked in, I noticed a strange man sitting on the chai-...whoa, wait a minute! That's not just a strange person, that's...

"Meet Adam Young. He's come to our school today in order to perform at our final school assembly. I want you to help him set up." The Principle smiled. "You're a good student and I figured it would be a good experience for you."

"M-me?" I stammered. There had to be a mistake. They would never choose me! But it wasn't a mistake, they had indeed chosen me. Adam walked out the door and I followed; gobsmacked.

We walked into the assembly hall and Adam smiled. "Ok, let's start setting up! Would you mind helping me get a few microphones hooked up?"

"Sure!" I smiled enthusiastically and began helping to connect the microphones to the speakers. How could I not be happy about doing this?! One, I didn't have to do any school work! And second, I was helping out Adam Young! That's so awesome in itself!

It didn't take long for me to connect the microphones to the speakers. Once I had double checked all of the microphones were working, I walked over to Adam nervously. "Um...anything else you'd like me to do?"

"Finished already?" Adam sounded slightly surprised, but he smiled. "Good job! Ehm, let's see...what else can you do? Oh! Would you mind setting those chairs out please?" Adam pointed to a huge stack of chairs. It was going to be a challenge to get them all set put before the assembly started. "I'll help you" Adam grinned and I accepted his help.

As Adam and I began setting out the chairs, I heard him chuckle. "Who do you think could get the most chairs set out quickest?"

"I don't know, but if that's a challenge...let's find out!" I smirked. This was going to be fun!

"Ready, set...go!" Adam shouted and we both tool off towards the pile of chairs. We had three piles each to set out, and there was a fairly big number if chairs in each stack. As I carried a few to set out, I noticed that Adam could carry a lot more than me.

"Not fair!" I laughed. Adam might have been able to carry more chairs to set out, but I was faster than he was.

Within moments, I had finished my first stack, but Adam wasn't far behind me.

We kept going and finally, it was the last pile...20 chairs for each of us to place out. We both looked at each other and within a split second, we had scrambled to get the final stack out. But I pulled the chairs way too quickly and my whole stack came tumbling down with a loud thud.

Chairs spilled all over the floor; clattering. It echoed through the room and Adam couldn't help but laugh. "Nice one! Come on, I'll help you." Adam leant a hand and helped me to set up the final chairs.

While we were setting them up we talked and began to get to know each other more. It was incredible how I was able to talk to him, I mean, he was famous and yet I didn't stammer or freak out. I was calm and collected; it was nice to have a normal conversation with someone who was an idol to me.

We'd finished placing the last few chairs out and Adam gave me a big grin. "Thanks for the help, Y/N! I'll see you at the assembly!"

I waved good bye to him and ran back to class, getting ready to come back to watch his performance.

"Attention everyone! I'd like you to all settle down and give a warm welcome to Adam Young from Owl City!"

Our Principle spoke into the microphone and everyone clapped loudly to welcome Adam up to the small stage set up.

"Good morning everyone! Now before I start, I would like to give a big welcome to F/N L/N for helping me set up everything! It was very kind of you." Adam searched the crowd, but I stayed seated.

"Come on, stand on up! Let's give him a clap of gratitude everyone!" As everyone began clapping I slowly stood up and the applause grew. I couldn't help but grin hugely; could I feel any more proud than what I did right now?

"Now to thank you for doing such an awesome job, I'd like to give you my newest; and not yet released album, signed by the one and only! Come on down and accept your gift!" Adam held up the album and I walked through the crowd of students happily.

Standing before everyone in my year level, I received the autographed album and also a hug from Adam himself.

Through the whole performance, I could stop smiling. Who knew school could be so cool sometimes? But, you know, only when you get to help a celebrity out!
