Saturday morning comes around and and Mila was over my place because we had a girls day. We had just got back from the gym and now we were gonna take a shower, get dressed to go get our nails and toes done. She wanted to look her absolute best for this party. I desperatlely needed a fill in. Music played throughout the apartment as we got ready. I had got out of the shower a few minutes ago and I was lotioning my body. The music turned down a little for a second signaling a notification. I checked my phone to see what the notification was. It was a text message from Terrell.
Terrell: so when can I take you out again?
I quickly responded and finshed lotioning up. I danced to my playlist in the mirror as I put on my bra and panties. After I was done with that Mila walked out the bathroom wrapped in her towel with her shower cap on. She walked over to my dresser and grabbed the lotion from the dresser. I grabbed my flat iron out of my closet and plugged it in the socket in the bathroom.
I then started to flat iron my hair, while dancing to Cardi B's verse on No Limit. After I was done with my hair I walked out my room and saw Mila getting her makeup out of her bag and started on it. I stood next to her in the mirror and started too.
"I gotta do a video with you on my channel."
"It's about damn time bitch."
I laughed at her and finished off my eyebrows.
Mila and I were all ready to go I grabbed my keys and walked out the door. Once I turned the around to lock the door, Mila tapped my shoulder.
"Hold up.."
She tapped me again.
"What is so import-"
I looked back and saw their eyes on us. All of Clarence's friends were standing on the steps looking at us. I literally have no idea why they're looking at me like that. Shit! Maybe Clarence told them about what happened last night. I mean, I did tell Mila, she told to just let the love flow and see where it goes. I don't know why that girl is so pressed for me to have a man. I squinted my eyes and turned my head toward Mila.
Before I could get any words out we all heard him coming down the steps.
"Aye, y'all I got my charger we can bounce." he jogged down the steps.
We were all standing there like deers in headlights.
"Why y'all niggas standing on the steps like that?" he laughed as I heard his voice get closer.
Nobody moved or did anything. We just stood there and waited for him to come downstairs. Clarence didn't even send me my goodmorning text, so I knew something was wrong.
He stopped when he saw me and Mila standing at the door. He scratched his head and looked at me. "Wassup?" he looked everywhere but my eyes.
I made a stank face at the way he was acting and walked out the door with Mila right behind me.
"If this damn uber dont hurry the hell up." I looked at my phone. He was three minutes away but he was taking mad long to get down here. Like hurry up, i'm in a crisis and I need to run away.
I heard them come out after us all talking and laughing. I rolled my eyes as I saw my uber pull up to the curb. Me and Clarence made eye contact once more before I got in after Mila. My uber pulled off and that was that.
"Girl, why he acting like that?" Mila looked at me.
"I literally have no idea, I don't think we're gonna be friends anymore.. I mean like he didn't send me my goodmorning text." I pouted.
