Sebastian was spending time with the captain. That's what he secretly always wanted. He didn't think the captain knew he existed. He was excited to search for treasure. He was hoping that the captain wouldn't turn out to be selfish and not share the gold.

The party was still going on. Frank and Stella were having their own party. The captain didn't notice they were gone.

They were downstairs. Somewhere private. They lock themselves in a cage. They heard a sound. It was as if someone was coming. Stella and Frank hid in the corner. It was just Sebastian.

Frank ran up to him. Sebastian almost had a heart attack.

"You scared me. Don't jump at me like that again."

"Sorry. I'm just happy to see you."

"What are you doing down here?"

"Don't worry about me. Why are you down here?"

"The captain invited me to dinner. And now everyone is putting the attention on me. I just got a bit overwhelmed. So I came down here."

"My dad actually invited you? I didn't think you know you existed. What made him invite you?"

"I don't know. He's actually being nice to me. Which scares me."

The captain came in. Frank and Sebastian were shocked.

"What are you boys doing down here? You should be at the party."

Sebastian ran upstairs. Frank looked back at Stella. Stella was hiding in the corner. She was putting on her clothes.

"Dad, what are you doing here?"

"Looking for you and Sebastian. I figured you'd be down here."

They went upstairs. Leaving Stella in the dark room. About an hour later, Frank came back down. Stella was upset.

"Sorry for leaving you. It won't happen again."

"I'm getting tired of hiding from your dad. Maybe I should return to the sea."

"But you don't have anywhere to go. I'll make sure you don't get caught."

They were in Frank's bedroom. Stella lied in his bed. Frank kissed her forehead.

"I'll be back."

The next morning, Frank was looking for his dad. Sebastian was on the lookout. On the search for an island. They were hunting buried treasure.

Sebastian looked through the telescope. The captain was breathing over his neck.

"Sir, I don't mean to be disrespectful. But I can't concentrate when you're so close."

"Oh. I'm sorry. Keep doing your job."

The captain went up to Frank.

"I was looking for you."

"Sorry. I was busy. Anything you need?"

Frank was freaking out. His dad was happier than usual. "Are you feeling okay? Ever since last night, you've been. . . . happy."

His dad hugged him. Frank was happy that his dad was in a good mood. But he was also scared.

"I gotta go. My friend is waiting for me."

"Aww. You made a friend. So did I."

The captain ran back to Sebastian. Frank ran back to Stella. Stella woke up.

"What time is it?"

"It's morning."

Frank sat on the bed. Stella sat in his lap.

"Is everything okay?"

"Everything's fine. I'm worried about my dad."

"What's wrong with your dad?"

"Nothing. That's the problem."

"That's a good thing. After all these years, your dad is happy."

"About what? I wonder what made him so happy. And how?"

"Maybe he was missing something. He probably lost something. But now he found it."

"What was he missing? He has everything."

"He doesn't have your mom."

"My dad wouldn't be looking for love."

"He doesn't have to be in love. I think he just really love someone. Like a sibling."

Frank scratched his chin. He thought about Sebastian.

"Why does my dad love Sebastian so much?"

"Sebastian makes him feel good."

"I better talk to my dad."
