Not So Happily Ever After

Summary: you escape Neverland with the storybrook gang, but peter isn’t ready to give you up just yet.

“Well here it is, home sweet home.” Emma says as she opens the the door to her house where you’ll be staying for now.

After saving Henry you agreed to leave with the gang to storybrook.

~Past~

Years ago the shadow kidnapped you and your brother, well it didn’t mean to take you with him but you held on to your brother the entire way there. When the two of you arrived peter was angry at first, not wanting a girl on his island. But he decided you could help cook and make the boys feel better since they always cried at night.

Neverland started to become your new home, and you were happy. But of course not all things stay that way. Peter started acting paranoid and was aggressive to the boys. A new boy arrived, although peter didn’t treat him like a lost boy, it was like this boy was all Peter cared about.

You confronted peter about and found out this boy would save peters life and everything would go back to normal.

A little while later a group of people came to the island looking for the boy, Henry, peter started keeping you close to him as well as Felix and henry, saying that he didn’t want the group taking you away. It didn’t make sense at the time. Henry would save Peter then he could go home, why would he be worried about us?

Everything made sense once you found out peters real plan, Henry would have to give peter his heart in order to save peter, which would kill him. You were heartbroken and angry that peter would resort to doing something like that, so you decided to tell the group of his plan. But Peter was to smart, he knew you would do that so he found you and locked you in his treehouse while he went to skull rock with henry.

2 days later, peter was killed by Rumpelstiltskin, the town was saved and you were welcomed in by Emma and henry.

Things couldn’t be more perfect, although you did miss peter, but you had to move on now.

~present~

You were sleeping peacefully in your new bed, your cat sleeping next to you (Emma got it for you to make you feel more comfortable).

A cool breeze came through your open window giving you goose bumps. you sleepily got up and closed the window, then got back into bed.

Your cat cuddled next to you, then you softly closed your eyes. Your hair was brushed to the side, then you felt someone lean in next to your ear.

“You really shouldn’t have left love, did you think I wouldn’t find you?” The voice asked. You knew it was peter, of course he found a way to survive.

Swallowing your fear, you opened your eyes and starred into his own. He looked furious but there was also a hint of sadness hidden on his face. “I knew you could, I was just hoping you wouldn’t. Im happy now.”

“Oh please, stop lying to yourself, you know being with me brought you more joy than anything else. How can you even stand being here?” Peter asked, he looked genuinely shocked that you enjoyed living here.

“The people here don’t lock me away.” You whispered, scared he would get angry with you.

“I only did that so you wouldn’t ruin my plan!” He yelled, you shrunk back in fear. His eyes softend. “I guess it doesn’t matter now.” He looked down at the cat and smiled, the first smile you’d seen from him in awhile.

“And who’s this?” He asked, petting your cat making him purr. “His name is Salem.” The cat walked over to peter and rubbed against him, then layed in his lap.

“Why are you here peter?” You asked, although you had a pretty good feeling you knew the answer.

He continued petting Salem and didn’t look at you, but still responded. “To bring you back, you belong with me, not them.”

“Do I have a choice?”

“Well, no. But I’ll let you bring the cat.” He smirked. You smiled lightly, but looked down. “Are you going to punish me like last time?”

“I’m not going to lock you in my tree house if that’s what you’re thinking, but you are getting punished. Dont worry, I’ll make it enjoyable.” He winked, of course he would choose to punish you that way, nothing like being bent over peter pans lap…

“Ok, just don’t hurt them.”

“No promises love, now let’s go.” He took Salem in one hand and grabbed you with the other, then flew out the window.

So much for happily ever afters…
