Grey clouds fill the sky.
They don't rumble, they don't roar, they don't dump the water that weighs them down.
They come.
They make it darker.
Then it gets colder,
And colder,
And colder.
Until you start to see the little white flecks falling from the darkness that took over.
Suddenly the clouds aren't an issue, neither is the cold.
All that matters is the tiny bits of white fluff that continue to fall,
Endlessly it seems.
You walk into the middle of it all and just look up.
You watch each snowflake fall all at once,
Together they fall with one attached to another one,
They're perfectly paired.
Each flake has its exact match,
Another one just like it,
Falling together until they reach the ground,
Or a hand,
Or maybe even an awaiting tongue.
Even as they melt,
They'll melt together,
Just as they fell.

Hey guys! Here is a poem that I wrote with a prompt thanks to the wonderful @The_Planet_Needs_Me. The prompt they had given me was, every snowflake falls with a pair. They had tried to use this for a song with their ukulele (which is so cool), but had issues with it, so ya. Thank you so much for the prompt, I had so much fun writing this. If you guys have any suggestions, or whatever tell me in the comments, vote, share, or don't, it's up to you. XD Anyways bye guys! Hope you enjoy this! High-fives! Buh-Bye!
