"Are you guys ready?!" I asked enthusiastically. Everyone cheered and said yes except for Yoongi. He gave me a look that said 'when this is all over I'm gonna kill you' which is a good sign. He's not angry at me.
"Because Namjoon is my #1 partner, he'll do the honors of pushing the button"
Once hearing this Yoongi laughed for the first time since he's arrived. "Close your mouth before a fly goes inside" he told Taehyung. I looked over at the younger and saw that his mouth was indeed wide open out of what I assume is disbelief.
Haha. He's jealous again.
"That's not fair!" Taehyung protested. "What isn't fair about it?" Everyone asked at the same time. He just groaned and hid his face in Jungkook's chest.
Crap, now I feel kind of bad...
Oh well.
"Press the button, Namjoon" I ordered. He nodded and pushed down the red button. The computer made a few beeping sounds then showed "access granted" in bold on the screen. Next it showed "data has been sent".
WE DID IT!!
"As a reward for working so hard I'll make us all a nice meal!" Jin exclaimed. We cheered once hearing that. Well until there was a large boom outside. We quickly made our way upstairs then looked out of the window.
One by one the streetlights shattered. Then we heard a few screams which means that all of our effort did pay off. We actually managed to scare people. That's quite impressive if you ask me. We really make a good team!
Suddenly the lights from many houses started turning off. Soon after, all the lights in the neighborhood went off. Even people's headlights cut out. Scary voices were heard all throughout the city and the screams got more intense.
"Hoseok, what's going on? This wasn't part of the plan was it?" Jungkook asked. I hesitated a bit before shaking my head. "N-no.. but we can fix this. Besides, it's just a little prank. How bad can things get?" I laughed awkwardly.
"That doesn't sound very assuring.." Jimin stated.
That's when I realized...
I fucked up.
I may have accidentally forgotten to tell them reduce the power usage during the transaction. And we may have accidentally caused a major power outage throughout the whole country...
"Um, guys.. I suggest that you all go home and hide. That's the safest option as of right now..." I said.

What is he talking about? Why should we go home and hide? Don't tell me..

I knew it! We're gonna get arrested! I'm too young to get arrested! I still have things that I want to do in life but I can't do them in prison! Why me??
"You're so careless Hoseok! You said that we should have nothing to worry about but right now we have every reason to be worrying! Now what are we going to do?" I yelled at him. He gulped and looked down. "Um.."
Everyone glared at him.
"You all can go home. If somehow we get caught I'll say that it was only me. I'm the leader and therefore I take full responsibility for any mistakes made during this process. They won't suspect any of you since it's my house and all of my equipment" he finally said.
He actually cares about our well-being? That's a new one.
I can't just leave him here to take all the blame. What if something happens to him and I never get to see him again? I mean, my life would be much easier but I love all the thrill he brought into it.
"You guys aren't going to just leave are you? J-hope is our-"
Before I could finish my sentence, they all made their way to the door and left. Well the only one's who stayed behind were Yoongi and Jungkook.
"Tae, let's get just you home. You barely did anything so it wouldn't make sense for you to get in trouble. Say goodbye to hyung and come on" Jungkook said, tugging on my arm.
I shook my head and crossed my arms over my chest. "I'm staying"
"Well I'm not. Unlike you I care about my future and I'm not going to throw that all away for some guy I barely even know"
"Then leave, Jungkook. No one is asking you to stay. Just know that a real man doesn't abandon his friends"
"I'm not abandoning a friend. I'm abandoning my ex boyfriend and his summer fling"
Ex boyfriend? I guess he's dumping me. Look how lovely my day is going.
"Are you really going to break up with me because I'm being a good friend?"
"No, I'm breaking up with you because our feelings aren't mutual anymore."
With that, he left out the door and went to catch up with the others.
