Jack Cage got off the bus outside the only fight club he knew that was in Toa Payoh. He had accompanied Natalie and her mom to their car safely and now he had to get answers. Cage opened the door to the fight club and came into a wild atmosphere. Cage then headed for a desk which he assumed was the manager's.
"Are you the manager here?" Cage asked.
"Well well, new guy huh. Yes I am. Come, sit down," the man replied.
"My name is Jack Cage and I have some questions regarding a teenage boy called Jason Chang."
"Jason huh..."
"What do you know about him?"
"Why do you wanna know?"
"Let's just say he slapped me and I wanna slap him back."
"Well well, look who the cat dragged in."
"Who is that?" Cage said as everyone turned to stare at a girl with high heels and crimson roses walk in the room and take out a bat.
"Don't know her real name. All we know is that her codename is Crimson. Which explains the colour of the roses on her jacket. She is from the gang The Serpents and they have an alliance with The Shadows and The Ruby Eye which means a big no messing with them," the manager said.
Crimson then took down a big guy within 3 minutes. Everyone was shocked. Even the manager. But Cage wasn't. After all, he took down 2 bigger guys than that one in around a minute and a half.
"How are you not shocked? She just brought the guy down like that," the guy asked Cage.
"If you are shocked of even that, you aren't prepared for the real world. That was nothing. But I'm not here to see some girl fight a guy and be like 'WOAH HOLY COW'! No. I'm here for Jason Chang. I'd like to know what you know," Cage said.
"Well if you're so hell bent on finding out, you have to fight for the answers."
"What do you want me to do?"
"You see that guy? He is from the same gang as Crimson. Beat him, then we will talk."
"Deal."
Jack Cage and The Serpent representative went face to face.
"I heard that messing with you guys is a big no no. Let's see if I can turn that around." Cage said, confidently. The guy said nothing back. Then the bell rang.
The Serpent guy attacked first, attempting to land a fatal blow on Cage's skull. Bad idea. Cage then grabbed the fist coming at him and twisted his wrist. The opponent yelled in pain. Cage then punched his neck and broke his leg. 50 seconds. Game over. Everyone was shocked. Utter silence. Cage just walked down and went to the manager and said, "Now. I want my answers."
The manager was shocked. Too shocked. He then said, "Okay. Fine. A deal is a deal. I just... didn't expect that..."
"Didn't expect me to win? Please. That's not the first time people have sent others to fight me and expect me to lose. Now. What do you know about Jason Chang and his family."
"They aren't what people think they are."
"Someone said something about a shipment coming on Friday. You know what that means?"
"I think I might. Every time they come here, drugs are sold, and they leave with cash."
"Illegal drug dealing," Cage said.
"I assume so. That's all I know."
"Know anything about Mike's wife missing?"
"Heard of it, don't know about it much. You have to ask them yourself."
"Is that all you know?"
"Yes. I promise."
"Okay. Thank you very much."
"You're welcome."
"I owe you one I guess."
"You could help us with something. Fight the forsaken gang."
"What's your name?"
"Laurence."
"Okay Laurence. I'll look into it."
"Thanks."
"No problem."
Jack Cage pushed the door open and went to the bus stop with a fiery determination. He wanted these people brought to justice badly. Just as he was approaching the bus stop, a Mercedes Benz car pulled over in front of him.
"Get in the car. Now."
Cage then saw Jason Chang and what looked to be his father in the front seat. Then he saw at the back seat, the terrified faces of Natalie and her mother.
