Jack Cage woke up in a dark, cold room. His head was spinning and was disoriented. He didn't know the time. He always knew the time. It was like his super power. He had a clock in his head. But now it had stopped. Cage didn't know where he was.
His head hurt.
He never felt this way before. He could hear muffled voices. But even his hearing was damaged. How hard did they hit him?
His head hurt like hell.
He had to know what was causing this pain. He had never felt this pain before. Never. Never in his life. He had to know. He put his hand up to his head. And he gasped. His head was bleeding out. A huge bruise with blood gushing out. He wanted to cry. But didn't. Instead, he fought the pain. Like a video game, he was playing with the pain. He then built walls to block the pain. He had been fighting for so long. Even with himself. But this battle of pain was probably the worst. You ain't going to get me this time. Bring it on, Cage thought. He then pressed his hand on his head. The blood was clotting. His blood always clots fast. He wasn't like ordinary people. He was tougher than some adults. And this was proof. He was beating the pain. He slowly felt the pain leave his body. He then pushed his hand further in. The pain was excruciating. But it was a good sign. Cage hung in there. He was beating it. He had anger. Anger for the idiots who did this to him. He then turned that anger to strength. And used it to beat the pain. 5 painful minutes, and the pain was gone. Done. Cage won another battle.
The clock started working again. He instantly knew it was 5 in the afternoon. He then realised he was in the basement of some warehouse. Didn't know where. It is in a place he hasn't been to. Cage then heard the screaming of the Mother. Then the crying of Natalie. If he was angry before, hearing what he was hearing now made him furious. These people are going to regret this. Cage will make sure of that. Then, the door opened. Jason and Mike stepped in and grabbed Cage and tied his hands and his legs. Cage then remembered he had a penknife in his back pocket. He smiled to himself.
Jason then laid Cage on the floor. In front of Natalie and her mom. Then Jason went up to Natalie and grabbed her. Cage then yelled, "Touch her and you're a dead man! You harm her and I swear!"
"You will do nothing! Nothing at all but watch as I make her scream!" Jason yelled back.
Cage then saw her Mother begging Jason not to hurt her. Cage then said, "Jason I will hurt you! I'm going to hurt you so bad!"
Mike then approached Cage and gave him a right hook across the cheek. Then Mike said, "Don't worry boy, you're next."
Mike then whispered something to Jason and left. Probably for the drugs or something. But then Jason hit Natalie, and Natalie went down to the floor, holding her head, and crying. Cage yelled, "YOU ARE A DEAD MAN! A DEAD MAN YOU HEAR?!"
Jason said nothing and grabbed and then hit her again, while the mother was just crying and begging him to stop. Cage had taken the penknife and started to cut through the ropes. The ropes weren't even strong. Then suddenly. Jason took out a gun. Cage panicked. Something he had never done in a long time. Jason then pointed the gun at Natalie, who was bleeding and crying for help. Cage then cut the ropes, but pretended he was still tied.
"Look here," Jason said to Cage.
Cage then saw Jason's finger on the trigger and said, "Do that, and you're a dead man."
The Mother was crying for someone to help. Then Cage freed himself from the ropes and sprung up so fast Jason didn't see it coming. Then Cage threw Jason through the wall of the warehouse, and Cage went down with him.
