(Y/n) glances at her watch; 11:34 PM, it reads. Almost midnight. Gathering all of her courage, she walks to the front door of his house where Starscream stands unmoving, curling her hand into a fist. A wave of nervousness hits her, making her stomach feel a little sick while trying her best not to chew on her lower lip.
Starscream is there with all his glory, his cold but curious gaze met hers. His hand is still gripping the doorknob; he can escape inside anytime he wants, and she can't stop him.
"S-Starscream?" (Y/n) stutters, gritting her teeth behind her lips. "You are Starscream, correct?"
"That's Sir Starscream" He corrects her with that slightly high-pitched yet menacing voice. "Who are you, woman?"
She tightened her fists, all her childhood memories of him flooding in her head. The hard work, the punishments, the cries that always felt endless. Without realizing it, (Y/n) is glaring at the older man in front of her.
"I'm (Y/n)." she answered, "I worked for you when I was a kid—no, me and my brother, Smokescreen."
His eyes go wide for a split second, the response that tells (Y/n) he remembers. Starscream might be the worst person ever existed as far as she knows, but somehow, her guts tells her that he doesn't forget names. Those red pupils of his trail up and down, taking in her features. Upon noticing the look, shivers run down her body as she feels the intimidation radiating from him. In the corner of her eyes, (Y/n) spots some kids peeking through the window curiously. Despite the obvious signs, Starscream scoffs.
"I've never heard that name, or yours."
(Y/n)'s eyes widen, feeling hurt and surprised. The glint in his eyes is unmistakable, and he shuffles a bit as he said that. The woman shakes her head in denial.
"You're lying." She blurts out all of the sudden, persistent. "You approached me and my brother 15 years ago then took us in!"
"I never took in any kids. I live alone."
"Then how do you explain—"
(Y/n)'s about to point at those kids by the window when she notices that they are already gone, inwardly cursing herself for not at least snapping a photo when they were there.
She needs to press the matter further no matter what. "You have to tell me where my brother is, where he is and who adopted him."
"Fool. I don't even know who you are, nor your so-called brother." Starscream retorts back in annoyance, and before any words escape her lips to reply, he speaks up again. "Get out of here before you do something you will regret."
He turns away, opens the door then slamming it shut before she gets any chance to ask more questions. (Y/n) pounds hard at the door but receives no answer.
With a desperate and heavy sigh, she walks away from the place.

Her stomach growls loudly as she gets off the bus, barely noticing that she's back at the city center. It's long past midnight, but the area is still rather lively with few crowds and ongoing activities. Her gaze marvels then stop at a nightclub just across the road; the loud music playing catches her attention. With a small huff, (Y/n) turns on her heels, crossing the road to walk away from the spot to her hotel. Luckily, she's familiar enough with the street to tell that it's nearby, so there's no need for her to take another public transportation.
As she quietly walks behind a group of girls, (Y/n) sees a familiar blue haired woman among them. She listens to their chatter for a while until the said woman's face can be seen by her. A small gasp escapes her lips, knowing that she won't mistake that person as someone else.
