Kei watched the jet landed on the Helicarrier's runway from the window of the small bedroom Fury had given him, pulling on a fresh T-shirt and sweats that Agent Hill had provided him. He had just washed the blood off of his body, and regained his appearance of humanity. Two men disembarked from the jet, one tall, blond, and dressed in a leather jacket while the other, shorter man was older and wore a suit and tie, obviously a SHIELD agent.

He saw a redheaded woman greet them, before the agent scuttled off to do who-knows-what. A few seconds later, the duo greeted a older man in a worn brown suit who had been stumbling around the flightdeck, as if confused. That was when Kei turned away, sitting on his bunk and pulling on a pair of shoes before opening the door and heading to the bridge.

Fury stood towards the back on an elevated platform, watching the operators and engineers work to get the Helicarrier in the air. Kei went and stood by the railing, watching as the Helicarrier was prepared to rise up into the skies. He watched as the four turbines rose out of the ocean, his face showing no surprise or any emotion in general, as he registered the arrival of the blond man, the redheaded woman, and the man in the worn suit.

"Power plant performing at capacity," an agent reported. "We are clear."

"All engines operating," Hill reported to Fury. "SHIELD Emergency Protocol 193.6 in effect. We're at level, sir."

"Good," Fury nodded, turning to face the windows. "Let's vanish."

"Engage retro-reflection panels," Hill ordered.

"Ah," Kei nodded to Fury. "That's why I didn't see the Helicarrier coming when I crashed into it."

Fury nodded, then turned his attention to the two men. "Gentlemen."

Kei raised an eyebrow as the blond man handed Fury what seemed to be American money, before wandering towards the window.

"Doctor, thank you for coming," Fury nodded towards the man in the worn suit.

"Thank you for asking nicely," the man nodded. "So, how long am I staying?"

"Once we get our hands on the Tesseract, you're in the wind," Fury answered. "Both you and Kei Nagai here."

"Speaking of, why are you here, son?" the blond man asked, turning his attention back to the group.

"I'm here until this business is over," Kei shrugged. "Fury here has promised me that I can get a normal life once he gets what he needs."

"You're helping with finding the Tesseract?" the man asked.

"Think of him as an extra layer of protection," Fury nodded towards him, ignoring Kei's annoyed look. "Nagai, this is Dr. Bruce Banner and Steve Rogers. Both of you, this is Kei Nagai."

"It's a pleasure," Kei bowed slightly, his Japanese upbringing showing evidently.

"So, what are you doing in finding the Tesseract already?" Dr. Banner asked.

"We're sweeping every wirelessly accessible camera on the planet," the agent that had come with Rogers announced. "Cell phones, laptops. If it's connected to a satellite, it's eyes and ears for us."

"Still not gonna find them in time," the redheaded woman stated.

"You have to narrow your field," Dr. Banner started. "How many spectrometers do you have access to?"

"How many are there?" Fury asked.

"Call every lab you know," Dr. Banner ordered. "Tell them to put the spectrometers on the roof and calibrate them for gamma rays. I'll rough out a tracking algorithm, basic cluster recognition. At least we could rule out a few places. Do you have somewhere for me to work?"
