“Spotted!” Ling chuckled on the phone as she carried her travelling bag going out of the waiting area.
“I can’t see you,” Von mumbled as he continued to search for her in the crowd.
Finally, he blinked a wide smile as he noticed a girl waved her left hand. He rushed to approach her with a power hug.
“I missed you,” Ling uttered as she gave him a power hug too.
The two breaks in and joyfully scrutinize each other.
“Look at you, masculine na masculine ka na ah,” She noticed Von’s fierce look and improved biceps.
“I know right,” Von bragged. “Same with you, masculine na masculine ka na ring tingnan,”
Ling frowned in wonder.
Von replied with a smirk and continued their conversation as they proceeded inside the car and headed their way to the hotel where they will be accommodated.
Almira and Alyssa, after being informed about Ling’s arrival was already waiting for her at the entrance of the hotel.
“Achi! Dichi!” Ling yelled after seeing the two as she stepped out of the car.
“Ling!” the two yelled in chorus.
The three exchanged greetings while Von unloads Ling’s stuff from the compartment.
“Look at you,” Almira noticed. “You’re fabulous,”
Alyssa agreed.
“Wow ah, ikakasal ka na Dichi hindi ka pa rin nagbabago,” Ling responded. “Mahilig ka pa ring magbiro,”
“I’m serious,” Almira insisted.
Von came carrying Ling’s bag off his shoulder.
“Why not ask Von,” Almira continued.
Von acted like he doesn’t agree with Almira and so he got a stare from her.
Ling and Alyssa laughed at Almira’s expense.
The chitchat continued as they headed towards Ling and Von’s room.
Almira and Alyssa then bid farewell to the two and just reminded her about the bridal shower in the evening.
“Beauty rest na para blooming later at the party,” Almira repeated.
“Wala namang beauty so why rest?” Von barged in to mock her long time no see twinnie.
“Ito kahit kalian pang-asar talaga,” Ling commented.
“Na-miss ka lang nyan,” Almira responded and then finally gave the two their time to rest.
Von and Ling were actually having fun with each other’s stories when they finally exhaust themselves and fall asleep.
Ling used Von’s lap as her pillow while Von lean on the bed’s headboard. They looked just like little kiddos that exhaust themselves on the playground.
The two woke up just right in time. After preparing themselves for their respective parties, the two then parted ways.
Ling headed on the venue for the bridal shower without hesitation.
Immediately, Almira saw her and introduced to the rest of the group. Denise was also there but the two seemed okay and had their chatting on one corner.
Denise excused herself when her phone rings and therefore, left Ling alone.
Everything was actually alright but not until she heard some of the girls talking about her and Jeron.
