Part Three: Fish and Coconuts

Jungkook's P.O.V

I woke up but y/n wasn't where he was when he fell asleep. He was the only one up. All of a sudden I had my shirt thrown at me.

"It's still kinda wet and stained but I tried to wash out the blood," he said looking at me.

"Why Don't you just give me your jacke-"

"No! I-I mean...we're not the same size, it would be too small,"

"Okay jeez I'll wear the shirt," I said putting it on.

"Great. Now come with me to get some food," he said tossing me a stick with a pointed top.

I stood up and followed him along the sides of the beach. He stopped and started going into the shallow parts of the ocean. He started stabbing randomly and I copied, but soon started laughing. "What the fuck is so funny dude?" He said looking at me almost smiling.

"We haven't gotten anything. This isn't going to work," I said continuing to laugh. He interrupted my laugh by pulling his stick out of the water with a fish attached to the top. I quickly shut up and he took the fish off and tossed it to me. He caught more until we had about 15, some were larger than others.

We walked back and put them on a large leaf.

"Oh my god, who got those?" Alex, a flight attendant asked.

"Y/n," I said turning to motion at y/n. He smiled and said "my brother taught me when I was in grade school. Find a sharp angled rock to scrape the scales off of the fish then wash the and cook them over the fire with a long stick. I'll go bring some water. Where did you guys say it was?". Taehyung said "here I'll take you," and started walking him as the other people scattered to find rocks and sticks.

I instinctively followed. "On the way, try and find coconuts, we can use them to carry the water," he said looking up and down in search for the coconuts.

We walked for a while until Tae said "There! Coconuts!" Pointing to a tall tree. We walked closer to it and y/n grabbed a rock and attempted to throw it at the coconuts to make them fall. Tae and I did the same and after a while y/n said "Fuck! This ain't going to work. We're going to have to climb," he said pouting.

I giggled at his angry face and started to climb the tree.

"Idk guys, this is pretty tall, can't we just find another way to carry the water?" Tae said stepping back.

"Stop being a pussy," y/n said in English and he started to climb the tree. I understood what he said so I laughed.

"Alright, I'll just guide you guys," he said backing up further.

My foot slipped off of a large branch but I managed to stay on."Be careful!" He said sincerely.

We reached the top of the tree where the coconuts were. "What now?" I asked.

"Grab them and throw them at Tae for not helping, he said pulling one off and throwing it at Tae intentionally missing.

"Hey, what the hell," Taehyung said in English.

I laughed and did the same thing that he was doing. We both were throwing coconuts at Tae as he tried to collect them. "Alright I think that's enough, the poor soul can't even carry them," he said laughing and climbing back down.

He grabbed a large leaf and placed all of the coconuts on it. "Muscle boy, drag the coconuts," he said grabbing the end of the leaf and handing it to me. I obeyed his order and dragged the coconuts following Tae. We walked a while longer until we found the fresh water lake.

"Dope, but we can drink the coconut water first," he said walking back.

"Are you kidding me?! I dragged this stack of 20 toned coconuts all the way over here so we can take them back?" I said dropping the end of the leaf. Y/n and Taehyung laughed and started cracking jokes on the way back. I cracked a giggle but not loud enough for them to hear and started dragging the coconuts back.

We made it back to find the others following orders and cooking the fish. I let go of the leaf and plopped on the floor.

"Hey were was the rock that you guys used to de-scale the fish?" He asked.

"Right there" Jin said pointing to a large black rock with a long pointed edge.

"Perfect!" He said taking the rock. He began cutting the coconuts, he cut off one fourth of the top leaving all the milk inside and set them aside. "How the hell do you know how to do that?" I asked sitting up. "Brother," he said continuing to cut.

I watched him cut the coconuts and he said "Sorry. For making you carry them, and for making you risk your life to save mine," he said slowing down the cutting of the coconut.

"How do you-?"

"Taehyung told me what happened. I really owe you one,"

"Are you kidding me, without you we wouldn't have fish, or water- we'll milk, or even fire wood," I said flooding my hair out of my face.

"Still, no one has ever done something like that for me," he said looking down at the sand.

"Don't worry about it, we'll call it even," I said looking at him.

We all gathered around the fire and ate the fish and drank the coconut milk. "We'll have to be living off of this until we find something else," Jimin said when he was finished. "That's the least of our worries, he have to make sure people have a chance of finding us," y/n said standing up.

"I'll make a 'HELP' sign, you guys finish,". For the first time I didn't follow, I let him do what he was going to do, but I watched, I watched as he found large rocks and watched as he dug into the sand with his feet for a reference line, watched as he carefully placed what seemed to be millions of rocks into the caves he made with her feet.

"Alright done. Some of you should look for caves, if another storm hits, its best for us to be in a cave then with just some sticks above us," he said going back into the path where we found our secret kingdom.

I know that you can't climb coconut trees but this is a fanfic so just let it happen for the sake of the plot :/
