The sound of heavy rain pattering upon the window stirred you from your long slumber. Though it was moderately noisy outside, you still felt protected as y/bf lay a few inches away. Resting your head upon your pillow you shut your eyes, the sense of safety quickly being disturbed.
Lightning lit up the entire room, accompanied by a deafening clap of thunder. Regarding the stream of lightning, you intuitively tucked your head beneath y/bfs arm.
"Y/n? What's wrong?" He whispered, another large clap of thunder permeated the air.
"That." You whispered, looking out the rain-streaked window.
"Aw come here." He cooed, pulling you into his chest.
"You're going to be ok, I'm here." He whispered, kissing the top of your head.
With the comfort and refuge of his arms around you, your eyes eventually closed, permitting you to fall asleep.
