You, your boyfriend (y/bf), and a few friends had decided to go camping for the weekend. The day had been filled with swimming, hiking, and simply enjoying each other's company. As the sun began its descent behind the now-purple mountains, you and y/bf suggested having a good old-fashioned campfire.

"I sure had fun today!" Your friend exclaimed, taking a seat by the newly-formed fire.
"Me too!" You agreed, finding a spot on a log lining the outside of the fire pit.
Once the sun had fully disappeared behind the mountain peaks, the temperature plummeted into the negatives, leaving you shivering. Unfortunately, you had failed to pack any blankets.
"Y/bf, I'm cold. Could you come closer?" you pleaded, blowing into your frigid hands.
"Aww, come here. I'll share my blankets with you. Can't let my y/n be cold," he cooed, drawing you close to him and draping the blanket over both your shoulders.
"Thank you," you replied.
"No problem," he responded, wrapping his arms around you.
The distant sound of a rushing river served as soothing background noise, making it difficult to keep your heavy eyes open. The fact that y/bf was holding you tightly in his arms didn't help either. With every passing minute, it became harder and harder to stay awake. Finally, you surrendered, closing your eyes, accepting that sleep had won.
Suddenly, you were stirred awake from your slumber, y/bf nudging your shoulder.
"Y/n, c'mon, it's time for bed," he whispered.
"No, I don't wanna move. You're comfy," you muttered, closing your eyes again.
Y/bf sighed before picking you up.
"Hey, what are you doing?!" you playfully yelled, lightly hitting his shoulder.
"My baby is too tired to walk, so I gotta carry her," he chuckled, unzipping your tent.
Gently, y/bf laid you in your sleeping bag before crawling into his. Instinctively, he pulled you closer, the warmth of his body lulling you back to sleep.
