Let's get this straight real fast as someone who has been diagnosed with panic disorder I want to explain something that BUGS THE CRAP OUT OF ME

Just because you feel anxious from time to time DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE ANXIETY  DISORDER OR PANIC DISORDER

Being DIAGNOSED with a professional means that you have anxiety or panic disorder. I do understand self diagnosis of course just as long as you make it clear it's self diagnosis.

ALSO

Anxiety attack = Overwhelming sense of anxiety due to an event/thought/etc

Panic Attack = Intense and overwhelming sense of panic due to PHYSICAL symptoms of anxiety

Sorry end of my rant , hope you all enjoyyyy

"Y/bf, I'm home!" you called out as you stepped through the front door.

You had just returned from a long but enjoyable afternoon with your friends.

"Y/bf?" you called again, wandering through the house.

Y/bf was nowhere to be found. As you passed your bedroom, you heard soft sniffles coming from behind the closed door.

"Hey, are you in there?" you asked, gently knocking on the door. He didn't reply, but the sniffling stopped.

Quietly opening the door, you found y/bf pacing nervously around the room, tears apparent on his face.

"Y/bf! What's wrong?" You were concerned and puzzled by his behavior.

"I-I think I'm having a- anxiety attack," he mumbled, his arms trembling as he continued to pace.

Without saying a word, you reached out, grabbing his arm and pulling him into a comforting hug. Instinctively, he buried his face in the crook of your neck, his arms holding you tightly.

"I feel like I'm dying, It's like impending doom," he squeaked, his body trembling.

"I know it feels that way, but you're going to be okay. Just take it all in. Feel it. Then let it pass," you advised, sharing a real therapist's tip.

In each other's arms, you stood there for nearly 15 minutes until you felt y/bf's heart rate begin to slow down. Taking a deep breath, he pulled his head away from your neck and looked lovingly into your eyes.

"Thank you for helping me, y/n."

"Always."

Hope that was ok! Love u alll!!!
