There's a beauty to her
To all that she's done
When the sun sets
And she's still standing
There
On the cliff
Waiting for me
But as I move closer
My eyes open wide
This isn't some girl
This here is my bride
That's what I would've said
Had you asked a year ago
I'd say look at this girl
She's beautiful
But I've fallen since then
A couple of times
And got back up on my own
I thought that's what life was
But I was ok with that
I was ok with the feeling of
Loneliness
Because to be lonely
Is to be alone
And to be alone
Is to be free
But then you came along
With your blue
And your rough skin
That reminds me of a dragon
Ready to soar
Those dragon's arms reached down
They pulled me up
They wrapped around me
And they wouldn't let go
And I thank god they haven't yet
