Fled with a demon inside me
I have nowhere to turn to now
Drowned in a river, lost at sea
Thought it'd be time to get me out
When I swam to the shallow bank
The black waves pulled me underneath
Like hungry wolves, they pounced, I sank
Nothing now but a memory
My mind cursed as it floated there
Not willing to put up a fight
Starved by dogs, I ate the cold air
But it was just too thick to bite
