Chapter One

I laid in bed, I wasn't tired but I wanted to sleep. I was sick of everything; sick of feeling alone and emotionally weak all the time. I just wish I had some decent friends, not the kind that only call me up to go partying with them - like for gods sakes we're seventeen, we don't have to spend every night of our summer break partying.

Thunder bellowed outside and the sky performed a fire work display of white light that flickered in my room from the window. Rain belted down on my roof - which was odd because the day had remained warm and sunny, there was no hint of a storm at all.

I groaned and rolled over looking at my Harry Potter movie and book collection. I groaned rolling myself upwards, why couldn't my life be like that of the characters in Harry Potter. Like yeah I understand they had to fight Voldemort but atleast they were all powerful, they weren't just a loser Muggle.

"I would give anything to be part of something like that." I sighed to myself, feeling so glum about my existence.

And with a flash of lightening all the power in the house shut off.

"Are you serious?!" I said with defeat, life sure didn't have the odds in my favour. My aunt was currently away on holiday and I had no idea how to fix the power so I guess I had to sit in the darkness.

I went outside on to the patio to observe the storm. The trees were violently swaying into each other and the roar of rain hitting the earth was almost deafening.

Lightening flashed the veins of the sky and thunder boomed behind. As strange as it was this was comforting, it made my soul feel at peace that the world too needed to scream sometimes.

I was so caught up in my head that I didn't realise the door had swung open. My aunts dog ran out and down the stairs.

My eyes darted to the small black scruff ball running onto the driveway "Aggie!" I screamed.

If he ran away on my watch Aunt will kill me. I followed him on to the road not caring if I get wet. "Aggie stop!" Hoping that he'd listen to me.

A flash of lighting hit a tree a few houses a head and it stopped us both as it's flames ignited and the leaves became its fuel to burn. The wind picked up and I could barley keep myself stable.

"Aggie come!" I don't think he could hear me.

I clenched on to my necklace and remembered it's metal. I was a bullseye for the lightening. But I couldn't take it off- I hadn't since the day my parents gave me it, the day they died.

I continued to scream at the black dog but he just looked at me - like he was too afraid to come near me.

Frustration boiled in me and my necklace started to produce a blue light.

"What the hell?" I looked down at it, it has never done that before.

Another white light shot above me in the sky but it didn't hit another tree, no, it hit me. A fiery pain went in every ounce of my body, I fell on to the road and everything went dark.

For some strange reason I continued to fall. Like I had just cracked through the road and was falling to the centre of the earth. The darkness started to open up and a warm texture emerged from underneath me.

The feeling of falling stopped as I hit the ground and groaned in pain. When I looked around me I recognised the place I had just fallen into. The castles texture was only that of Hogwarts.

But how was this possible?

I'm dead. That's it. I knew it. I'm dead and Hogwarts is my heaven.

I stood up and dusted myself off. I was still completely drenched and I was freezing. My teeth chattered and I folded my hands over my chest in a way to hug myself back to warmth.

"And what do we have here?" A low voice drawled out from behind me. Thunder and lightening crashed through the castles halls. I guess it was storming here too.

I jumped and met the man that owned that voice. My eyes widened and his familiar half smirk.

"Gone for a midnight dance in the rain? Tell me what house do you belong to."

Well I always thought I was a Hufflepuff but everytime I did the pottermore quiz it says I'm a Slytherin, but my friend-

WHAT AM I THINKING WHAT IS THE FUCK IS GOING ON

I didn't answer to gobsmacked to believe what was happening. And that Severus Snape was in front of me... at Hogwarts... where I currently was... thinking I was a student...

For the hundredth time thunder and lightening clashed together in the hall.

"Very well then." He said through clenched teeth, he grabbed my arm tightly and dragged me along, "If you insist on being a mute in my presence, I will let the headmaster deal with you."

Headmaster?? Dumbledore! He's still alive. What time of Hogwarts am I in?

Authors Note: All this seems far fetched for the time being but things change in Chapter Four and you find out what exactly happened and how she came to Hogwarts. So stick around, pleaseeee.
