Jack unlocked his door and opened it with a smile on his face, he said it wasn't much, but wow was it beautiful. From the white couch and carpet, to the baby blue rug, chair and décor. "Wow Jack, this is beautiful," I put my bags down and continued to walk in the room
"Thank you, I know it's nothing much, but it's home." He put the rest of my bags down, "Here, let me show you to your room."
"My room? I get my own room? I thought..."
"That we would have to share?" My eyes grew big and looked down at the ground. That's what I did think, I really did that we would have to share a room or I would be on the couch. He did say that his apartment wasn't much, guess I assumed too quickly. "Hey, it's alright, I just thought you would want your own room."
"Yeah of course, please show me," I was ready to have this conversation over with since he didn't think the same way I did. Jack grabbed my bags and showed me to my room. He opened the door and a bright light shined through the door. My room was all white and baby blue like the rest of the house, but my room had silver furniture. My bed, vanity, doors, dressers, was silver. I walked inside and looked around, "My god it's like out of a fairytale."
Jack watched me in wonder as he slowly walked in and put my bags down, "Sometimes I think with you I'm in a fairytale."
I turned to him and blushed, "That's very sweet of you to say."
Jack walked towards one of the doors in my room and opened it, "You also have your own bathroom."
I got excited, "I've never had my own bathroom before!" I quickly ran in the room as Jack laughed at me. My bathroom was of course all white with sparkle tiles, I had a gorgeous old time tub with a walk-in shower. The water fell down like a waterfall and my sinks were so shiny silver, it was just like it came out of a magazine.
"Do you like it," Jack asked me as he snuck up behind me?
"I love it, your house is amazing! How were you able to afford such a nice place?"
I turned and faced Jack as he wrapped his arms around me, "My parents help me pay for it."
Our eyes locked and he leaned in to kiss me, I looked down and smiled, "I'd like to take a bath, if that's alright with you?"
Jack looked down at me and kissed my forehead, "Of course, I'll be outside."
Jack released our embraced and started to walk away, I watched him shut the door and I let out a sigh. I haven't been intimate with anyone since my last boyfriend Leo. He was the love of my life, he took everything from me and we dated from my freshman year to my junior year. I broke it off finding out everything about the cheating and the lying throughout the three years and my friends started to see the bruises his left on me. This was my senior year and it was close to graduation and I was just ready to get out of here and away from everyone. Then Jack suddenly came, and treated me like he's known me for years and made me feel special. I know we didn't know each other for very long and this is moving completely way too fast, but it just felt right.
I turned on the water and put in some bubble bath soap, I was looking so forward to this soak. As soon as I got in the hot water rushed over my body as the bubbles covered my skin. I soaked up the lavender smell of the soap and closed my eyes, hoping to stop thinking about my past. I lost myself and started to think about Jack, how would we act while I was living here? What if he finds someone else and kicks me out? I jolted forward and saw Jack staring at me, I rubbed my eyes and looked again and he wasn't there. I looked around and still didn't see him, I drained the water and got out of the tub. I grabbed a towel that was hanging on the wall. I wrapped it around me and walked out of the bathroom. I looked down to tuck the towel in and looked up and saw Jack and squealed a little.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I just wanted to make sure you were alright. You were just recently stabbed and I wanted to make sure you didn't fall or anything."
I looked at him softly, "Thank you for the thought, but, umm, I am kind of in my towel right now. Could I get dressed?"
Jack looked me up and down, "Of course," he said softly.
He still stared at me, I blushed, "Jack?"
He came too, "Oh, yes, of course. I am really sorry."
"It's alright," I still stood there awkwardly with my towel around me.
"I'm just going to go now, I brought in all your bags and if you need me just yell."
"Thank you," I watched him leave the room and I dropped my towel in relief. I was ready for my soft pjs, I went to my bags to find my pjs. I grabbed them and put them on, I started to have trouble with my arm. The medicine started to stop working. I thankfully was able to still get my bra on and maybe thought to call for Jack to help me. I grabbed my shirt and opened the door to walk into the living room to look for Jack. He was sitting on the couch watching tv. "Jack," I spoke softly making sure not to startle him?
"Yeah," Jack turned around to see me and his mouth opened and he became stunned?"
"I'm really sorry about this, but I'm having trouble putting on my shirt. My arm is starting to hurt and I can't move it very much."
Jack slowly got off the couch with the same look on his face and slowly walked towards me, "Okay, you, you, want me to help?"
I watched him slowly get closer to me, "If it's not too awkward for you?"
"No, of course not," he stared at my chest and I blushed, "I'm sorry for staring. I just didn't see this coming so soon."
I giggled, "But you saw it happening?"
Jack grabbed my waist and him eyes followed his hands, "I hoped it would happen," Jack looked back at me and slowly leaned in and passionately kissed me.
