"Another day, another adventure," Jack muttered as he rose out of his futon and pulled on a shirt along with his favorite heavy vest. "I should probably go wake the others, " he thought as he left his room, his ADHD mind already running scenarios of all the ways the day could go. The "foyer" had a pleasant ambiance to it with the soft clicking of gears from the mad engineer, "gearhead" Gary Sanders', room and the slight crackling of Johnny Burns' tiny bonfires that he kept in his room. Being the pyromaniac of the group everyone else had thoroughly fireproofed almost all of the building, especially his room, to prevent him from accidentally burning down the warehouse. In addition to those two there was also trigger happy Tommy Kraber whose room was decorated with ammo boxes and gun racks, DID Sera Reynolds/Sid Psycho whose room had a distinct divide down the middle with Sid's side decorated with all manner of knives and sharp scissors and the other covered with art supplies and a stun gun, which they apparently used to switch between each other easily, mostly to help keep Sid in check according to Sera. There was also Bo Luke the rebel, a tsundere named Asaka Langley, Jack's sweet yandere girlfriend Karen Clover, a sociopathic grammar-loving gamer named Jodake Merollin, (to whom everything seemed to be a game) Levi Ackerson who was a skilled swordsman but was obsessed with cleaning, and Bobby Wheeler the bus driver who had AVAD (anti-vehicle anxiety disorder) and was probably on the bus sleeping on the hide-a-bed futon he had installed near the driver seat because his disorder meant that he got incredibly anxious anytime he wasn't behind the wheel of something and perfectly confident and a bit giddy anytime he was. After Jack hit the "big lights," (as everyone called them) in the main room he started grinning at the ingenuity of Gearhead's modified Tesla coil that was somehow able to provide power for most of the warehouse. It was pretty easy for him to figure out that the best way to get most of them up was by blasting the horn a few times so he does. Pretty quickly the warehouse came to life with almost all of the crew now awake and almost as loud as they usually were, "Now that just leaves Foster 1 and Foster 2." Jack said with a sigh. They were the Foster kids of the group, formally known as Brook and Daniel Foster, they supposedly had different last names but no one could remember them and they spent so much time together they might as well be twins. The pair had been raised in foster care together and developed a immense trust for each other but they still liked to pull shenanigans. After a while everyone was in the main room and it was Sera's turn to cook breakfast. Over breakfast everyone talked about their highlights of the previous day. (All except for Jodake, who was, as usual, being absolutely silent on account of his agoraphobia). Gearhead mentioned some plans to add another feature the the "psycho serpent" the gang's "tour bus." The bus had already been modded and overhauled so many times that the junk yard where Gearhead had found it wouldn't recognize it. It had joints added into it so that despite being a little longer than a Spirit Coach it could still make tight turns around corners and easily navigate little two lane roads. It also looked like it had been dipped in zombie apocalypse with its armor plating and mounted deployable gatling guns, missile launchers, and turrets. On top of that it had the paint job of a teenage graffitist where everyone's CQ(crazy quality) had been mentioned somewhere, typically in obvious locations. "Ugh" Levi groaned looking more scowl-ful than usual, "you had that dream again, didn't you," Jack asked, "the one where giant humanoids show--" "up and then start destroying the city and eating people, yes I did." Levi finished. Jack patted him on the shoulder reassuringly saying "don't worry about it. Dude you've got us and that fancy grappling jetpack Gearhead helped you build." "You're right," he replied, "I had the most wonderful dream about my sweet Jackie last night!" Karen interjects. "I'm sure you did dear." Jack praised, patting her affectionately on the head with a pleasant smile. Levi looked up from the stew Sera had prepared for him and promptly announced "This Saturday is cleaning day, everyone be ready!"
"Alright I'm full," said Bo pushing himself away from the table. "Let's go see what's on the news." With that, Levi cleaned up the dishes and it was Asaka's turn to help. Then everyone piled into the couches and chairs they had set up in front of a large TV. Foster1 and 2 took the loveseat the pair had set up. Jack, Karen, Johnny, and Gary took one couch while Bo, Tommy, Jodake, and Sera took the other. Bobby hesitantly took a seat in a chair, finally having partially gotten over his anxiety while he was in the warehouse. While waiting on the other two to finish the dishes Brook started talking to Jodake. "So, have you found yourself anyone yet, Jodake?" she asked, "Not yet." he replied "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll find someone, just remember what we told you." Jack grinned because he knew that despite their numerous shenanigans the pair gave great relationship advice. Once Levi and Asaka had joined them each taking seat in a remaining chair after finishing the dishes Jack clicked on the TV.
