The TV clicked on to the news channel and began spewing out its stories as it usually did. "Attorney General who recused himself from probe of Russian meddling now may be a witness," was the first story on its screen. "Some people just cannot be trusted," Jodake said. "The Powerball jackpot is now ginormous," the reporter announced. "Johnny, the last time I bought a lotto ticket you burned it didn't you?" Jack asked. "Yeah, and you were mad as hell about it, too," Johnny replied, grinning nostalgically. "Why the bitter Trump-Obama relationship is unprecedented," the TV blared. "Wow," Bo chimed in, "I think they've got an even worse relationship than Levi and the Fosters." Everyone chuckled at that remark. "Massive earthquake hits the city of Townsville, disaster relief needed" the reporter announced. "Hey guys, isn't Townsville like only a few hundred miles from here?" Jack asked looking around at the others "Yep, finally mission select gives us something useful! " Jodake replied. "Alright people, let's gear up and head out!" Jack rallied. Everyone else cheered and ran to their rooms to get their gear. Jack grabbed Whiplash, his extending whip sword along with a shoulder strap full of grenades. Karen grabbed her favorite knife which had her and Jack's names etched into it. Bo grabbed his combat knife, and his cowboy hat. Tommy already kept a medley of guns on the bus but strapped on a pair of SMGs anyway and grabbed extra ammo. Sera grabbed some art supplies and then used the stun gun to switch to Sid and let her pick out her weapons and switched back. Johnny grabbed his flamethrower and extinguished the tiny bonfires in his room. Gearhead grabbed his arc cannon and equipped what seemed to be a set of augment armor which boosted his speed and strength. Asaka grabbed her war hammer. Levi equipped his mobility kit as he called it, the grappling jetpack with his swords tethered to it that Gearhead had helped him build. Jodake grabbed his rifle and a few grenades. Daniel grabbed a long hooked chain and Brook brought her whip. Bobby was already on the bus as he kept most of his weapons there, namely his knife and handgun. With everyone loaded up on the bus Bobby hit the ignition and the bus roared to life and they were off. Along the way there the gang got to play some of their favorite songs off the stereo such as "Feel Invincible," "Hey Hey," Sera and Jodake's personal favorite "Castle in the Sky," and Jack and Karen's favorite "Pretty Little Psycho." Once they got close Jack asked Gary "By the way Gearhead do the Serpent's joints flex vertically too?"
"Yeah, they should. It might not be very comfortable, but they should." he replied, almost as if on cue the front of bus lurched upward sending Jack and Gearhead tumbling backwards the two quickly caught themselves and strapped in. "EVERYONE SIT DOWN AND BUCKLE UP!" Jack bellowed and very soon everyone had secured themselves "Also: Brook, Daniel, as long as we're down here, NO shenanigans!" Jack instructed. "Okay, okay." they responded a little disappointed. A short time later the bus arrived near Townsville square and just about everyone unloaded Bobby stayed at the wheel to act as a greeter and to let people know that it was safe on the bus. Sera went to the kitchen to start preparing meals for the citizens along with Brook, who stayed for counseling. Jodake, Tommy, and Johnny started trying to clear a path for other rescue vehicles. Meanwhile everyone else headed towards the wreckage looking for people in need of assistance. Before too long they had found a parking garage that had already started to cave in. Levi almost immediately went to the upper levels using his mobility kit and Gearhead was able to use the augment armor to start moving rubble out of the way and Daniel was able to use his chain to tow cars out of the way and Jack was able to cut open exits with Whiplash with Bo leading people back to the Psycho Serpent always telling them "Sir, we're here to help." Karen and Asaka we're doing the best they could to get people to safety, mostly by catching the people that Levi sent down from above. Later on Bo was guiding someone to the bus as usual when a large chunk of rubble fell off a nearby by building and was falling straight for them. Thinking quickly Bo does his best to shield them and then boomboomboomboom and a shower of pebbles rains down on them they look up and see Tommy hefting a quad barreled missile launcher "good on ya partner!" Bo cried and hurried them onto the bus. Back on the bus Sera was cooking meal after meal and brook was giving counselling to anyone that looked stressed, sending retrieval info for victims still out there and occasionally taking group selfies for posterity. Eventually the sun began to set and the relief team finally arrived after after Johnny had successfully melted the rubble into a road more or less. By this point just about everyone had been saved and the crew was able to hand everyone off the relief team with relative ease. Then they notified them of their departure and backed up their things and left for the warehouse. On the ride back Karen fell asleep on Jack's lap, he was not upset by this at all, he simply petted her smiling pleasantly for the rest of the ride and carried her to her futon when they reached the warehouse.
