Chapter 28: New Year

*A few days later*

That morning I woke up to Jaylyn crying. Leah came in my room looking like she was so tired. She told me that Jaylyn has kept her up all night the past few nights. And that she wanted to take a long nap. She asked me if Jack and me could babysit Skylynn and Jaylyn. I told her that we would. She said that her and Zach wanted to go watch a movie. After we had a long talk she went and got ready. After I finally got out of bed I realized it was New Years Eve. I could believe that this year has flown by so fast. I could believe that me and Jack have been dating for a year. And I was so happy I had the greatest friends in the world. After I got ready I went downstairs and we all ate breakfast. After we ate breakfast Zach and Leah left while me and Jack watched Skylynn and Jaylyn. Skylynn was real easy to entertain because we turned on a show for her and while she was watching the show she fell asleep and Jack went and laid her down. On the other hand Jaylyn was crying the whole time. Me and Jack traded back and forth trying to calm her down but she just kept crying. A few minutes later Zach and Leah came through the door. After that we all got ready because we were gonna go eat. Tia and Leah called a babysitter and after the babysitter came we left. We went and ate at Olive Garden. It was almost midnight and all couldn't believe it was almost 2018. It was only 1 minute till midnight when we got home. We all sat down and turned on the tv. We waited for the ball to drop on tv. It turned midnight and Jack leaned it for a kiss. Leah and Zach, Daniel and Tia, Emily and Jonah, and Corbyn and Christina kissed.( Ps Christina came to LA for New Year's Eve) It was officially 2018. I could believe it. After a few minutes later we all went to bed.
