Everything Is Okay

Captain Stern and the Avaloran princesses looked in one part of the park when they came across a red bush.

"I remember seeing one of the Tigarrots in red," Elena recalled. "She must be hiding in this bush."

"Careful, Elena—tigers can be ferocious," Isabel warned her. "We don't know if Tigarrots are as friendly as the Jacquins."

Elena got closer to the bush, and a red baby Tigarrot flew into her arms. "Okay, we have one down," she smiled.

"Now let's take her to headquarters," Captain Stern instructed.

Meanwhile, Mr. Jackson, Sofia, and Sara were looking in another part of the park.

"I've never been to this part of the park before," Sofia said. Then from a distance, she saw tigers that were black with white stripes—and they had huge tails like skunks. "What are those?"

"Those are tiger-skunks," Mr. Jackson said. "They're like regular skunks, but they don't get surprised easily. It's okay to get a little closer than we are now, but they're so stinky that you can't pass that yellow line. If you do, you'll sniff them out."

"Uh-oh," Sara gulped. "Someone needs to tell that to her."

The magenta baby Tigarrot was flying toward the tiger-skunk habitat.

"I got her!" Sofia cried. She jumped and caught the magenta tiger in her arms.

"Great catch, princess," Mr. Jackson. "Now let's retreat to headquarters."

Meanwhile, Garrick, Hugo, and Axel were looking for another tiger. Suddenly, Hugo's Enchantlet lit up, and Sofia contacted him.

"Hugo, we already found two Tigarrots," Sofia told him.

"Great, one more to find," Axel smiled.

Just then, Hugo saw the pink Tigarrot. "There's the last one," he said.

The king and princes carefully went up to the pink tiger when she saw them. "Mommy! Mommy!" she cried happily. She flew up into Hugo's arms and licked his cheek.

"Apparently, this little one thinks I'm her mother," giggled Hugo.

"Well, nonetheless, we found her," Axel chuckled. "Let's go back to headquarters."

Back at headquarters, Hugo, Axel, and Garrick joined the others. The red and magenta tigers went up to their mother, who was very proud.

"Hey, I need to name these cubs," Garnet realized. She nuzzled the magenta tiger and said, "This one is my little Primrose."

"How sweet," Sara smiled, holding the red tiger in her arms. "How about this little one?"

"I think I'll call her 'Zinnia'," Garnet smiled.

The pink tiger looked at Hugo and asked, "Mommy?"

"No, I'm Hugo," Hugo told her. "That's your mommy," he added, pointed to Garnet.

"Since that one likes you so much, Hugo, you should name her," Garnet told him.

"Really?" Hugo gasped. "Okay, I'll call you 'Peony'."

"Peony!" Peony repeated. She hugged Hugo.

"Okay, go on with Mommy and your sisters," Hugo said.

Peony flew over to her mother and sisters.

"What a day," Hugo said.

"I think we'd better get going," Garrick said. "We'll come back when we have the chance."

"Very well," Sara nodded. "Have a good day."

The royals left the park.

"I feel sorry for the staff at our palace," Axel claimed.

"Why?" Sofia asked.

"When we get back home, they'll have to answer to me," Axel claimed. "Who do they think they are, judging my baby bro and thinking they know who he is?"

"I feel sorry for them, too, Axel," Garrick concurred. "They really need a talking-to."

Hugo liked the sound of that—he hoped nobody in the palace would judge him by his title again.
