A week later, Sofia, Hugo, and their families went to the tiger park to see the baby tigers. Elena and Isabel were with them, too, along with Jesus and Daisy's mother, Magda.
"I can't wait to see the Tigarrots," James beamed.
"Me neither," Amber grinned.
The royals got to the rescue squad headquarters, and Daisy came out, having recovered from her cold.
"Hola, mijita," Magda smiled.
"Hola, Mamá, Papá," Daisy waved.
Garnet came out with Primrose, Zinnia, and Peony.
"Oh, how precious," Miranda gushed.
Peony flew over into Hugo's arms and exclaimed, "Hugo! Hugo!"
"Aw, she missed you, champ," Garrick smiled.
Peony clapped her paws, and so did Zinnia and Primrose.
"Oh, I think they want to play," Hugo smiled.
"Go on, boy," Sara told him.
Hugo knelt down, and he and the baby tigers played the game he taught them last week.
"Tortillitas de Manteca para Mamá que está contenta. Tortillitas de maiz para Papá que está feliz!"
"Aw, Hugo, did you teach that to them?" Daisy smiled.
"Yes, I did," Hugo smiled. "They really seem to like it."
"They sure do," Axel smiled.
Everyone played with Garnet and her babies.
Hugo learned a big lesson. It's okay to ask for help when he really needs it, and that's more important than proving that he can do something himself. He hoped the palace staff learned not to judge him for being a prince.
