Chapter 2

The next lesson was English, I check my diary it said English - L3. I look around to try to find the class "There it is" I say under my breath.

I walked into the class and saw Matthew sitting alone on the back row, so I decided to sit next to him. "Hey matt" I say

"Oh hey" he says not looking at me

"Matt what's wrong" I say, trying to be as quiet as possible.

"Look at the board" he says, not taking his eyes of his book. I do so it said English test in a week people who fail will have to re-do this year.

"Matt don't worry" I say sounding worried myself.

"How am I not supposed to worry? I'm sure I will fail" he said, you could see he was close to crying.

"Matt you have to believe in yourself, okay? And I believe in you" I say trying to cheer him up.

After another 30 minutes of the teacher going on about the test the bell rings, "So Matt my place or yours?" I ask excited.

"You can come to mine, I live alone" he says.

"What do you mean alone?" I ask.

"Well my parents, they abandoned me they said I'm too stupid and I don't deserve to have a family" he says but you can see the tear forming in his eyes.

"Matt" I say but I don't know how to finish that sentence, I was speechless.

Our way to matt's house was silent we Did't say anything because I was still shocked about how his family treated him. he doesn't deserve this.

When we arrived at matts house we got to work straight away but there was something different about Matt. something that I didn't see in school. He was happy and when I say happy it wasn't like a fake smile or a laugh, you could see it in his eyes. that little sparkle in eyes , his hair , his personality everything about him was perfect.

oh my god

what am I thinking i can't be falling for him, it's not possible.
