Erica's pov

I woke up before Matt. he was still asleep so
I decided to call the school and tell them me and Matt won't be in today. the though of what happened was still stuck in my head, I need to speak to him about this I have to help him.

I decided to get ready and make breakfast before he wakes up. I went to the bathroom and took a quick shower and put on a oversized t-shirt, black leggings and a pair of vans. I went downstairs and made us sandwiches. I heard Matt coming down the stairs "good morning sleepy head" I say giving him a smile. "Oh hey Erica" he says. his eyes where still red from yesterday. I decided not to say anything until he finished eating.

After around 20 minutes we where finished "ill go get dressed" said matt. "Matt sit down I need to speak to you" I say. I could tell he knew what was coming up.he sat down next to me. "Matt I'm going to try to help you but please you have to tell me why did u do it" I say. "Well, I already told u everyone hates me my parents abandoned me I don't deserve to life" he said while tears slid down his cheeks. i decided not to say anything but give him a hug. " I hate myself, I hate myself I'm useless and I just want to die". he said. "Matt listen your not use less okay? Matt please don't ever do this to yourself I know it's hard but please listen to me and if u ever need anyone to speak just tell me I'll always be here for you"

We hugged for 5 minutes and then we finally let go " thank you Erica" he said. I just gave him a smile. "I called the school, told them you won't be in today so we might go somewhere, what do you think"? I asked him. "sure why not" he said and gave me a smile.

"So where do you want to go"? I asked.
"Can we go have a picnic"? he asked. I didn't say anything I just went to get a basket and fill it with food.

We left the house and made our way to the park. my eyes where locked on Matt the whole way there. everything about him was perfect. the way he smiled, the way his hair was without him even trying.
Is it possible. I think to myself, is it possible for me to love him. I never believe in love at first sight and then I met him.
