Madyson walks through the front door of her house looking like she just took a stroll through a car wash. She begins to remove her jacket, shoes and other insignificant pieces of clothing as she makes her way to the laundry room. She removes the clothes as fast as she can while her teeth chatter and her body twitches uncontrollably from the cold rain on her body. She remembers when she was younger and her and her brother would stay out in the snow far too long. When they came in her mother would always make them take a hot shower to warm up. It always made her feel better. She weakly makes her way up the stairs as she continues shivering. After her steaming hot shower she walks into her bedroom with a heavy coat and winter clothing still feeling like she's in an ice box. She turns the heater up and quickly gets under her covers, putting as many extra blankets over her body as she can.

Jeremy's sitting in the local burger joint with Noah talking about how lousy their football team is. "I'm sorry Noah, but your team sucks...big time."

Noah's trying very hard to defend the honor of his team. "Now, but just wait...we're making a come back."

Jeremy rolls his eyes with a smirk. "You've been saying that for the past year."

"Yeah, ever since you left. Why don't you come back on the team? We could totally bring the victorious Giants back into the running."

Jeremy lowers his head to look at his plate as he grabs a fry. "It's not right for me anymore. I've moved on. Football isn't how I want to spend my last year of high school. I already wasted my first three years on it."

Noah's eyes widen as he lifts up his drink. "Gee, harsh."

"Football is your thing, Noah. You and football are like two peas in a pod, it was never the same way for me." His phone begins to play an old familiar ringtone. He smiles at the sound of Don't Stop by Fleetwood Mac and flips open his phone with a smile. "You again?"

"Jeremy, I need your help."

Surprised by the worried sound in Shayla's voice, he immediately sits up and listens intently.

"I just went by Dena's and her brother answered the door. He hasn't seen her since she left for school two days ago, she never got home yesterday."

"And her brother didn't go to the police?!"

"Jeremy, do you know who you're talking about? Jake wouldn't go to the police for anything, he's got too much to hide."

He sighs and rubs his forehead before briefly resting his elbow on the table. "Alright, what do you need us to do? I'm sitting with Noah at Burger Basket."

"I guess we should search all the usual places. I'm headed to the park right now. Why don't you guys check any other places she may of gone? Think back to what we used to do, chances are she went somewhere safe that has good memories. For now we have to believe she's just hiding out somewhere."

Jeremy nods as the worry begins to set in. He stands up and begins taking money out of his wallet. "Okay, Noah and I will head to the Teleclub."

"Good idea, call me if you find her."

"You do the same." He ends the call and tosses a few bills on the table as Noah stands up beside him, looking over at him with confusion.

"What's going on? That was Shayla's ringtone, right?"

"Dena's missing."

His eyes widen with worry. "What? I thought she was just laying out."

Jeremy shakes his head."Shayla went to her house and apparently Jake hasn't seen her since she left for school 2 days ago."
