WARNING: This chapter has a mature scene that may be disturbing for many readers. Though it isn't detailed, you have been warned.

Lightscale could see the whites of her eyes as she pounced on a sandy she-cat, Cliffrose. Lightscale could see recognition pass through Cliffrose's gaze as she slashed at her nose.

Lightscale hissed in rage as claws tore through her newly healed ears. Lightscale retaliated by standing on her hinds legs and coming down on Cliffrose's head.

Swiftly, Cliffrose stepped backwards and hissed. "We didn't kill your deputy!"

I know, and I've tried to tell Flightstar, but she won't listen.

Though the thoughts passed through her mind, Lightscale still attacked with a false rage.

Cliffrose charged at Lightscale, but Lightscale side-stepped and raked her claws down Cliffrose's side.

Images of the battle between her and Snowwhisker flashed through Lightscale's mind, but she tried to keep them at bay.

Cliffrose screeched in pain.

"Cliffrose!", a call sounded as Lightscale was bowled over by a blue blur.

Suddenly, Lightscale was on her back, pinned by a blue tom with silver eyes. His fangs were gleaming with blood as he pummeled her stomach.

"You! You're the one that blamed us!", he shouted as he leaned down and tore at her ear. "You should pay for your lies!"

Went he was bent over, Lightscale quickly grabbed his ear. They both were twisted awkwardly as they each bit down on each others ears.

Lightscale's was the first to tear, but she still held on. Still on her back, Lightscale jerked her head upwards, tearing the blue tom's ear.

"You foxheart!" The tom raised himself onto his hind legs, but Lightscale swept her body to the side, taking out one of his legs from under him.

Lightscale quickly got up and faced the tom. He swung out a paw, and she ducked. She then sprang at him, claws outstretched. Her claws met his chest and dug deep.

The tom quickly backed away, and Lightscale released her claws. The tom scampered away.

Lightscale whipped around, ready to face another attacker. She dreaded the handsome red face she saw.

Redleaf sprang at her, bowling her over onto her stomach.

In the background, Lightscale could hear more Amberclan warriors enter the camp.

Though she was pinned, Lightscale felt no pain from his claws. Looking down at the paws on her chest, she noticed that his claws were sheathed. She did the same and began pummeling his stomach. Redleaf hissed in pain. Lightscale saw a glimmer of amusement in his eyes.

She then began hitting his face with soft paws. Redleaf sprang back, but his fangs were bared.

They circled twice before Lightscale sprang at him. Redleaf ducked, but right when she flew over him, he stood up, flipping her over. Surprised, she yelped and landed on her back, giving off an oof.

Lightscale quickly flipped upright, but was met with a flurry of paws.

Closing her eyes, Lightscale quickly backed away from Redleaf and to the outskirts of camp. Taking a breath, Lightscale looked around the clearing.

Rosefeather and Softleap were attacking a cream she-cat that looked similar to Rosepaw.

Speaking of which, out of the corner of her eye, she could see Rosepaw running towards the medicine den.
