"OMG! I'm so sorry, are you okay?" Stupid question since I saw him bang his head off the lamp post but I had to ask. He groaned while holding his head.
"I am so sorry I don't know how that happen... I mean I couldn't have pushed that hard, I mean you weigh more than me but I just did that I don't really know what is going on with me, I mean first I think I have mysterious powers because I can control things with my mind then I think someone is following me....." I knew I was rambing on but I couldn't stop, I couldn't believe what just happened.
'What do you mean mysterious powers and someone's following you?" I didn't notice that he had gotten up and was very close to me. As I turned around, his face was a mere inch away from mine. I couldn't breath, all I could think about was if I moved a fraction, we would be kissing.
"Answer me!" He demanded, his tone snapping me from fanatazing about his smooth luscious lips.
"It's nothing for you to worry about, it's just I thought someone followed me home yeserday from the park and they followed me to school today. But I'm properly just paraniod..... are you sure you are alright, I mean you hit your head pretty bad; but I didn't mean to do it... but when I did, I felt power surge through me. Why am I telling you this? I should be trying to take you to the hospi" Josh put his hand over my mouth to stop me from talking and I couldn't get rid of the tingling sensation his hands brought to me.
"Powers? Stalker?" Josh asked, as he started walking around deep in thoughts. That's when I noticed that there was no blood from his head and he looked...fine, like nothing happened. Like he didn't just hit his hit- really badly I must add, against the lamp post.
I tried to get his attention to tell him this but he wasn't really paying attention.
"Oh this is bad. I mean I should have been more careful protecting her. I can't believe her powers are developing when she's not even eighteen yet and with no training, how is that even possible?" I looked at him in confusion, what was he talking about. So I asked him.
"Josh, what are you talking about? Protect me? What are you protecting me from?" he looked up in suprise.
"How did you know what I was thinking?"
"Thinking? You just said that you should have been more careful protecting me. What are you protecting me from?"
"Aali.. I didn't say that out loud, I thought it" He said, still shocked.
"What?"
"Just think about it. Did you see my lips moving?" Now that he said it, he wasn't moving his lips. So how the hell did I hear him? I moved backwards towards the wall, to hold for support. I was bewildered.
"Josh, what's wrong with me?" I asked him after two minutes of silence.
"Liyah it's alright, you are ok" He moved, pulling my arms towards him.
"Ok? First I can control things with my mind, then I pushed you so hard with inhuman strength; now I can hear your thoughts and you tell me it's alright! Of course it's not alright! I want you to tell me what is going on and who you are and why you are meant to be "protecting" me" I demanded
"It's complicated" He whispered
"Well then uncomnplicate it for me" I shouted
"Liyah..... You and I are not from this world...... We are from another place. We are immortals" That's what he said before everything went black.
