As I was walking home with my groceries, I crossed to the street leading up to my house. It was a lonely street with our house being one of the seven houses on it, every house was hidden with a big tree. Our tree was the biggest and it nearly covers our house. Everyone in the street kept to themselves. So no one could help me in the situation I was about to find myself in.
As I got closer to my house, I heard footsteps behind me and when I turned around, I was greeted with the face of my stalker. Damien or whatever his name was, was a very tall, malicious looking man. His eyes were so dark that I didn't know which colour it was, he was dressed in all black and his black hair was quite long that it reached his shoulders. He just stood there watching me. I made a move to step away, he held me back.
"So, you're the one everyone's talking about?" His voice as eerie as the rest of him. Who was everyone? I tried to move away from his grip on me, but he won't budge. "We can do this the hard way, or the easy way. All you have to do is follow me"
"I'm not going anywhere with you" I shouted.
"Wrong answer" he threw my groceries to the floor, grapped on to me and lifted me up over his shoulders. I tried to get down but it was like mission impossible. Before I could give up, I felt another hand grap me from behind and I was in Panbdora again.
I turned around to my rescuer- it was Josh.
"Are you ok?" He asked, his voice full of concern.
"Yeah, I mean I'm not panicking" I said pacing around the small hut, panicking.
"What happened?" A voice I recognised came from behind me. It was Elaine.
"Damien almost got her" Josh replied.
"I am so sorry, Josh where were you?" She asked him.
"It's alright, if it wasn't for him, then I don't know what would have happened" I whispered.
"Aaliyah you need to start the training and know how to project your powers so you can defend yourself. Time is ticking and we need to act fast" she said.
"I know. I think I'm ready." I had to be ready otherwise the next time I won't be so lucky and who knew if they would target Jessica or one of my friends. Those thoughts made me want to vomit. This was all too much for me, I wanted to just crawl onto my bed and cry myself to sleep. I didn't know when tears started spilling down my eyes but as Josh's hands came to dry the tears fron my eyes, I couldn't stop from breaking down to cry.
"Shush it's ok" Josh comforted me from behind.
"Josh you have to see this...." A girly voice said and as I lifted up my tears filled eyes I saw a face that looked a little bit like mine.
"Aaliyah meet your sister.. Rebecca"
