Kols POV

I walked into the room and Davina was sat on the bed looking through her grimoire.

'I thought I took that away from you?' I questioned leaning on the door frame, weekly smiling at her.

'You did. But I took it back.', she smirked, not looking up from the pages she was reading.

I sighed. 'Don't do it love.', I practically begged her, I couldn't bare to lose her again. She was the only thing I had left.

'Do what?'

'You know what I'm talking about.',I walked over to her and sat on the bed with her looking at the pages she was reading. I didn't understand it, they were her own spells she'd written when she came back from the dead.

'Kol please...', she started but I wouldn't let her, she'd already said her point and I wanted to say mine.

'It's not fair to do this to me. To us.' I looked at her sadly. 'To our unborn child.'

'Kol it's the only way.' She closed the grimoire and looked at me pleadingly, she looked more than sad.

'We'll find another way darling, I can't let you do this to yourself.' I held her hands and she looked down again, she couldn't meet my eyes. 'This could kill you.', I begged her not to do this, not to put her life in this much danger.

Silence. I saw a tear fall from her eye, she looked scared, I think she did anyway.

'I don't want to do this Kol.' She finally said and breathed a breath of relief. We were eventually getting somewhere with this.

'Then don't love, we can find another way I swear.' I said bringing her into a tight hug. I rubbed her hair on the back of her head gently as she cried a little into my shoulder.

'But Marcel-' she started, I released from our embrace and looked deep into her eyes.

'He won't be a problem, I swear it.' I assured her and she nodded. 'Now let me wipe away those tears.' I said as I used my thumb to get rid of them. Once done I looked at her trying to read her thoughts.

'Thank you.' She cried a little.

'Your ever so welcome my dear.' I say kissing her forehead. 'Don't you worry.' I held her close and listened for the heart beat of our unborn child. It was still then. With all that'd happened in the past weeks I was concerned it'd been harmed, it's strong. It's a Mikaelson .
