C-Carrots

Riley POV
It is a beautiful morning. The sun is bright and the birds are singing.
See James and I are married and we have 2 beautiful children.
~ Jake is 8
~ Olivia is 4

It is Sunday so I decided to do something fun with the family.
I step out of bed and go to the kitchen to make breakfast.
Jake comes then downstairs.
"Good morning sweetheart how did you sleep?" I ask my to still tired son.
"Good thanks mom."
"No problem. Could you maybe wake your dad and Olivia up? Breakfast is almost ready." I ask.
"Yeah sure."
"Thank you." he goes upstairs to wake James and Olivia up. He then comes down while scooping Olivia.
"Mommy!"
"Hey sweetheart. How did you sleep?"
"Good!" She says excitedly. She then sits down while James stand behind me and kissing me from behind. We then sit down and eat as a happy family.
"So I was thinking..." I say.
"That can't be good." James mumbles.
I then glare at him which he react with a chuckle.
"So as I said. I think we should go to a theme park and after that we should eat somewhere." I say excitedly. Of course the kids react happy.
"Yeah I like that idea." James says.
"Okay Jake, James you pack your backs and get ready while I get Olivia and my self ready.''
Everybody runs then off. Even James! Sometimes he just act like a 4 year old kid.

James POV
We are going to a theme park yay!!!
I quickly get ready and pack my bag. After I'm done I go to Jake's room help him to get ready.
"Dad, you are really excited aren't you?" He asks also excited.
"Yeah duh! We are going to the theme park buddy! With amazing roller coasters!" I explain exited.
"Hurry up then! I want to be there fast as possible!" He says even more excited. After I'm done with helping Jake I go off to Riley.

"Hey babe, want me to help Olivia while you're getting ready?" I ask. "Yes please that would be a great help."

I pick Olivia and bring here to her room.
"What do you think of this?" I ask showing here a cute dress.
"I love it!" She giggles. I put her dress on and put some thing in her little backpack.
Everyone comes then downstairs.
"Are you guys ready!?" I ask impatiently.
"Yeah!!" Everyone screams.
"Let's go then!"

(A/N) I'm gonna skip the whole theme park fun.

Riley POV
We had a great time in the theme park so we are going to eat something in a restaurant.
We are just looking at the menus.
"What do you want Jake?" I ask
"Can I have a burger with some fries?"
"Yeah of course. What you want James?"
"I'm going with the same as Jake."
"Okay. Me too with a salad. Do you want some fries and a salad Olivia?" I ask. Olivia always love salads like me.
"Yes please." She says with an adorable smile.
After that a waitress takes our orders. We made small talks until the waitress comes back again with our food.

We eat peaceful until Olivia screams because there are carrots in her salade.
"EW!!! THERE CARROTS IN IT!!" She screams out the top of her longs.
"Olivia calm down, you don't have to eat it." I say calm, but she still screams.
"EW!!" At this point everyone is staring at us.
She then just trow the salad on the ground.
"Olivia that's enough! Put your coat on we are going home! Boys you can stay." I say mad. I grab her by the hand and head home.
I told her she has to go early to bed and she can't have dessert tomorrow.

Of course she cries which made my heart break.
"I'm sorry mommy! Please don't be mad." She bags still crying.
"I'm not mad. I'm disappointed in you." Then Jake and James come in. Olivia runs to Jake hugging him and crying in shirt.
They have an amazing relationship together. He always helps her and be there for her which honestly is so cute.
"Don't cry sweetie. It's okay." Jake says trying to cheer her up.
"It's not okay. Mommy is disappointed in me and she doesn't love me anymore." She says still crying and now I am completely heartbroken.
"Sweetie of course I love you. Don't be silly I love you more then anything, but what you did was not good." I say.
"So you don't hate me?"She says still sad.
"Of course I don't hate you silly girl. Come her." She then runs up to me with a smile on her face.
"Promise me that you are not going to do it again." I tell her.
"I promise." She says with an adorable smile. ''Okay, but you have to sleep. It is bedtime.'' ''Okay mommy. Goodnight.'' she says. ''Goodnight sweetheart.''

Sometimes you have annoying moments in your family, but we always find a way to fix it. That is what love does.
