I still couldn't believe what I did. I smiled at Levi? Why? Why in the hell did I do that? That pissed me off only because I didn't like that 5 foot shorty. Ugh. What am I saying?

"Mikasa look!" I looked at Armin and followed where he was pointing. It was a titan just below us, clawing at the trees bark to try and climb up.

"There not entering the forest. They are clearly more attracted to us. But why?" I understood what Armin what saying.

"We need to head out! Now is our que to move!" I watched the majority of the men leave in our area and head the direction of where Eren was going. What was going on? Why isn't anyone telling us anything?!

"Armin-" A big thud hit the ground below us. I looked at the titan and gasped slightly. Titans...were everywhere, staring at us with hungry eyes.

"At least they aren't going anywhere. Mikasa should we try and kill them?"

"No. We should stay put and keep an eye out. If we try to kill them, we will not survive that many titans at once. It's too dangerous and it was cause other titans to become attracted to the commotion and that will lead more of them in this area. It's pointless. We'll just be throwing lives away." I looked at Armin and he nodded.

"Mm."

"All we have to do is wait. It's unfortunate but we can't do anything about it." I sat down and sighed. 'Eren, please be safe.' I looked up at the sky. 'It's so blue.'

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" I looked at Armin and smiled.

"A clear cloudless day-time sky is blue because molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter red light. When we look towards the sun at sunset, we see red and orange colours because the blue light has been scattered out and away from the line of sight." He said pointing at the sky.

"You sure know a lot."

"Well yeah, my father wanted to study the earths atmosphere for so long..." He croaked. Honestly, if my parents were alive right now, I bet they would be proud of me for serving the corps.
I stood up and looked at the titans closely. One was climbing a tree in front of us! Should I kill it? No hesitations. I took out my blades and leaped forward quickly. 'No turning back now.'

"Mikasa! You're going to-"

"ROARRRRRRRRRRRR!" I gasped and turned my wires the other way.
My brain had shut down. I was clammy and there was the glisten of a cold sweat. My eyes were as wide as if someone was coming to deliver the fatal blow. Yet what I heard, no-one else could hear. Trapped in my own psychosis, a living nightmare for one, tailor made by my own brain to play on my deepest fears.

"Eren." I shot my way through the trees and hustled my way towards the scream. My mind was racing and I couldn't think clearly. Did something happen? What's happening? What if I... no! No more what if's! I will do! No matter what! I will save Eren! No matter what!

"Even if it costs my life!" My head was overwhelmed with the negatives and the doubts. 'Eren. Just wait for me!' Out of nowhere my wire snapped. I opened my eyes in shock, and I was falling. My perception of time distorted, everything slowed down until there was nothing, only I and the sky above, the sky that seemed to swallow me whole. My hand reached out, kissing the sky, grasping the endless crevasse of blue. Everything was a blur, a blur that swirled out of existence. Suspended in the air, I closed my eyes and surrendered myself into the infinite sky above. I tried saving myself but my 3D Maneuvering Gear was jammed and all I could do was let myself fall. I hit the dirt, feeling my elbow burn in pain as it smashed into the gravel underneath me. I coughed and groaned in pain.

"GAHHHHH!" I screamed. My head and my back felt the worst. Oh no. I can't move. My body is in too much pain. I should've listened to Jean but I totally let my guard down. I heard an unpleasant sound in front me. I barely had the energy to lift my head up to see where it came from and to my luck, it was a titan. An abnormal to make matters worse. I moved my arm to grab my sword. This wasn't good. I'm going to die if I don't move. If I die, I won't be able to remember Eren. I got up slowly, even though my entire body was in excruciating pain, I had to survive. This was a cruel world. I looked at the titan and it stared down at me with that ugly smile of his. For once, I was actually kind of frightened.

"Come...Come at me you BASTARD!!!!!!" I ran as fast as my body could let me, with my blade behind me; ready. This might be the last time I see the light of day again. Tears prickled in my eyes.

"I'm sorry Eren!" I cried in agony. The titan swooped down and picked me up. I was too late too move out of his grasps. I kicked and punched and told it to let me go. I knew nothing was going to work but I tried anyway. The titan pulled me up to his mouth. Tears streamed down my cheeks.

"I love you, Eren. I should've told you when I had the chance. But I was too afraid to tell you because I knew you only saw me as a little sister." I was in between it's teeth. This was it.

"YOU HAVE TO STAY STRONG!" I yelled on the top of my lungs. I never thought giving up like this would feel so horrible, so traumatizing.  It's teeth clenched around my waist.

"AHHHHHH! S-STOP!"

Suddenly, I heard a slash and the sound of flesh being ripped out. The titan fell and right before it did, someone swooped down and pulled me out of its mouth. Strong hands wrapped around my waist and I was hanging like a doll. I was ready to hear a big lecture from Jean. But it was silent for a while. I sighed and looked up.

"Gomen'na-" I stopped short when I realized it wasn't Jean.

"Captain Levi?"

"You really know how to get in trouble don't you? I don't know why and how Eren is so important to you but risking your life like that is ridiculous." 'Ridiculous?! What the hell!?'

"Arigato for saving me, but I'm fine on my own. So please put me down." I said respectfully. He just laughed.

"Are you serious? In that condition?" He was starting to get on my last nerve.
