Late Night Partying.

Kelsey's POV

Right now, I'm having a really great time with Calum and his friends. They are funny, cool and very chill guys. So far I have found out they are seniors at Crenshaw High, they came here when they were fifteen because Calum's parents got better paying jobs here and they didn't want to be far from each other so they all crash at Calum's house. I even found out they basically grew up together so they are very close knitted.

"So Kelsey what about you? What school do you go to?" Calum's rough voice lingers in my ear.

"I'm a Junior at LaGrange Dale High." I smile.

"You seem like the type of girl everyone wants to be around" Ashton adds.

"I'm apparently the popular girl in the school" I smile with a shrug.

" Do you have a hot friend?" Micheal asks and I laugh.

"Don't listen to Mike, he's always trying to hook up with someone." Calum explains. 

"It's okay and yeah. Her name's Cristie, she's a pretty cool and weird and very loud person." I say and Mike holds a very smug and content smirk on his face.

"Sounds like my dream girl, spotaneous and loud." Micheal laughs and I join him.

"But the question still stands, Do you have a boyfriend at the moment because, excuse me for being a dog, you are HOT." Aston basically drools. I can't say I don't think I look good. I'm confident enough to admit it but barely any guy is this straight forward. 

"Well, not anymore. We broke up Friday, that's three years of my life I'm never getting back." I sigh and the guys look at me with sympathy.

"Can I ask why?" Luke asks.

"It's really stupid. He doesn't trust me with my best friend because everyone is convinced he has a thing for me but I don't see it." I say laughing a bit.

"Well, do you blame him? If everyone else notices it, I would kinda be worried too." Mike says and I look at him intently for a while. He is right but I don't see it and Harry has made it clear that he doesn't see me in that light.

"What do you say, let's ditch Starbucks and head to Nicole's party." Luke suggests.

"Yeah, that sounds like a plan. Kelsey wanna come? it will be fun." Mike coes.

"I dunno...I'm not dressed for the occasion." I trail, kinda feeling shy as I point to the clothes I am wearing.

The pleading looks on their faces were just so adorbs! I instantly give in.

"What the heck? Sure." I give in and scoot of the booth after Ashton gets up.

I turn to Calum "Could I like call my mom and ask her to bring some clothes because I really don't want to show up at a party in sweats" I chuckle.

"Go ahead. Would you like me to follow home instead of putting your mom through all that work?" he asks.

"No that's fine I'm sure she won't min-" i try to say but I am cut off by Calum.

"This is me trying to get some alone time with you." he chuckles. Well, I feel like an idiot. I've been in a relationship so long I forget what it's like to be hit on.

"Oh I feel so stupid..." I blush a bit.

"Don't. I'll tell the guys I'll meet them at the party." he smiles down at me. I swear his smile is the cutest thing ever.

"Okay." I pipe. Calum tells the guys to go without him and they nod. He puts his hand on the small of  my back and says "Shall we?"  making me smile.
