Sophie's P.O.V
After a long 7 hour flight we finally landed in Tokyo. Zach was in a bad mood since I had slept most of the flight leaving him to deal with the overly chatty 40 something year old woman sitting across from us.
I chuckled to myself as we stood at baggage reclaim when the same woman came up and tapped Zach on the shoulder,
"Good luck kiddo" she winked and then wandered off.I nudged Zach with my elbows, raising my eyebrows and asking, "what was that all about?"
"You don't even want to know" replied Zach shaking his head and chuckling nervously as he lunged forward to grab my suitcase off of the conveyer belt and handed it to me. I thanked him, pleased that he hadn't left me to fend for myself since I still had scarring memories of the time the weight of my suitcase lead me to take a good few trips around the belt, gaining countless dirty looks from many passengers. Most certainly the most embarrassing moment of my entire life.
"You thinking of your baggage fiasco aren't you?" Zach asked me throwing his head back and laughing out loud at the memory.
"How did you even know?" I cringed shaking my head at him
"You were staring at the conveyer belt as if it was your worst enemy, wasn't exactly hard to tell," he chuckled "anyway come on squirt we need to check in by three pm"
I nodded my head following behind Zach as we exited the airport.

It was currently 1:30 pm and Zach and I were sat in an exciting little cafe at the heart of Tokyo. I was beyond excited and had no doubt been chatting non-stop for a good half an hour. None the less Zach seemed to be interested, so it was either he was interested also or just a good actor.
"That's cool look out there" Zach cut me off looking excitedly out of the window. He was just as excited as I was to be in this city since it had been his dream for a long time also. Everything is so captivating, exciting and I can say for sure that you'd never get bored.
I leant forward from the little booth we were in to peer out of the window as a young girl passed by. She was dressed in a fabulous dress, just like the ones you see in the magazines about Japanese fashion. She looked just like a doll with her large platforms heels and petticoats skirts. Her already large eyes had been made to look even larger with the dark yet delicate makeup she was wearing and her hair had been styled in to two cute little plaits that hung by her head secured by dainty pink bows.
"Woah" I breathed turning to look back at Zach whose mouth hung just as I imagined mine was at the same moment.
"That's so cool!" I squealed bouncing up and down in my seat, this is exactly the reason I wanted to come to Japan, I wanted to experience things I'd never seen before and meet people that I would otherwise never get the chance to meet. And this sure was the place to do it.
Zach and I sat chatting in the small cafe for around half an hour more when we decided we should start back through the city towards our hotel.
We would be staying in what they call a wifi hotel in Tokyo city. That was basically a nice way of putting that the room would be tiny and not very nice but you get free wifi so who cares, right?Anyway, I can't say I'm bothered it will be nice to sleep in a room of my own instead of the small dorm we all shared in Indonesia and I really do need the wifi so I can FaceTime my mum and sister back home in England, I'm sure they already miss me and wonder what I've been up to.

It only took a few minutes to get to our hotel and we had soon checked in and been given our rooms, unfortunately they weren't right next to each other but only down the hall so it wasn't much of an issue.
Currently, Zach was sprawled out across my bed with his head plunged into my pillows as we reminisced about the many memories we'd had together in the short few years we'd known each other.
I'd already brought up the time that Zach had a stomach bug and ended up throwing up all over the lecturer at university because he just couldn't hold it in. I was in fits of laughter whilst trying to describe the looks of shock and pure disgust that was on the face of a usually impeccably composed man.
Zach was bright red from embarrassment and raced across the hotel room to playfully smack me upside the head, where I stood staring out into the city.
"Well it's not as bad as the time I caught you walking back to your apartment from a drunken night out with make up all over your face and carrying your shoes." He giggled,
"And what was it you were wearing again?" He paused placing his finger on his chin in mock confusion. The bastard new exactly what I had been wearing."That's right! A giant banana suit!" He laughed aloud as he continued.
"Oh shut up, that's not even the worst part, I'll never forget my poor mums face when i walked into my room to find her sitting on my bed" I face palmed laughing quietly to myself.
I hadn't even known she was visiting, and I bet that certainly wasn't what she was expecting her daughter to look like first thing in the morning.
My mum was never strict though, she just found it absolutely hilarious and has taken the opportunity to tease me about it ever since."Aww don't worry about it Soph, I think you looked cute" Zach said softly and tapped my shoulder.
"Anyways, I'm gonna go do some karaoke in the bar down the street" Zach told me "coming?"
"Sure" I replied " I'll meet you outside your room in twenty"

After Zach had left my room, I'd thrown on a simple black dress, with some matching shoes and a lovely brown jacket.
My brown hair was straightened and I quickly grabbed my bag before heading out to Zach's room.He was already waiting for me outside of his room with his hands stuffed in his pockets. He looked up at me as I neared and we turned walking down the stairs to the karaoke bar.

We were having a great time, I was slightly buzzed as I'd had a few too many drinks.
Zach was currently stood on the stage singing and dancing to some spice girls song that I couldn't remember the name to.
I was giggling heartily whilst taking small sips of my fruity drink when something in the corner of my room caught my eye.
It was a familiar mob of blonde hair and I was trying to rack my brain as to where I'd seen it before.
I had a strong feeling that I was being watched but I couldn't place from where or find the person who it was.
Suddenly I remembered that golden blonde mob of hair to be Leo's, the boy id met in Indonesia. But by the time I'd had this revelation, I turned to the corner of the bar where I'd seen the boy and he was gone. My head whipped round to all corners of the bar and scanned the people I could see. But no. I couldn't see that familiar mob of hair anywhere.
It couldn't be could it?•••
Whooooop! Finally a long chapter!
And it's getting interestinggggg, I wonder what'll happen next. Please comment and vote guys!
Lots of love L ❤️
