Week by Week.
six weeks.
Baby is .25 inches and the size of a sweet pea.'I'm home...' Wilmer says smiling as he makes his way into the house pulling his suitcase behind him. Instantly he's greeted by Batman and Ella who rush towards his, their little paws causing soft thuds against the floor.
'Hey, little ones... Where's your mommy?' He says bending down and patting both them. Within a few minutes he hears soft footsteps and glances up as Demi makes her way downstairs.
'Hey, baby...' She says softly causing him to smile as he stands up.
'Hi, love. I've missed you.' He replies instantly making his way over to her.
'I missed you too, so much... I've got a surprise for you.' She says.
'Yeah?' He asks and she nods her head. Reaching for his hand she smiles and places a tiny item in it.
'What's this?' He asks glancing down at the small green thing in his hand.
'It's supposed to be a sweet pea but I couldn't find any of them so this is just a regular pea.' She replies.
'Okay... I'm confused.' He says shaking his head.
'Pretty tiny, isn't it?' She says causing him to glance back down at the pea.
'Yeah.' He replies and she bites her bottom lip.
'That's the size of our baby.' She almost whispers and his head instantly snaps his head up to look at her.
'Wait, what?' He asks.
'I'm pregnant, Wilmer. We're having a baby.' She says.
'Really?' He asks and she nods her head.
'I've been dying to tell you but I didn't want to do it over the phone!' She replies as he pulls her into his arms. He spins around with her in his arms causing her feet to come off the ground.
'Wilmer...' She giggles.
'I can't believe we're having a baby!' He says placing her safely back down on the floor.
'I took like ten tests and then had Dr Greene confirm it twice for me so I was completely sure.' She replies.

'So the baby's the size of a sweet pea then?' Wilmer asks as Demi lies with her head on his lap.
'Yep and apparently will double in size next week.' Demi replies, a small smile on her face as one hand rests on her abdomen.
'How did you know? What made you take a test?' He asks.
'I was late. I've not really had any symptoms like they talk about in movies except I've been pretty tired.' She admits.
'No sickness?' He asks and she shakes her head.
'Nope, just tired. I'm pretty sure I've turned into a bit of a bitch as well; I kept snapping at Kelsey and Max yesterday.' She replies sighing as she closes her eyes.
'Do they know?' He asks moving some hair out of her face and watching as she places her hand over her mouth while she yawns.
'Nope. I wasn't going to tell anyone before I told you; except the doctor obviously but that was just to be completely sure.' She replies.

eight weeks.
baby is .63 inches and the size of a raspberry.'You smell.' Demi says causing Wilmer to smile as he watches her push herself away from him.
'I had a shower.' He replies and she shakes her head.
'You smell like mint and if you don't move I'm going to throw up all over you.' She says causing him to sigh.
'Another shower gel for the bin.' He mumbles getting off the sofa and making his way through to the en-suite.
'I'm sorry.' She says rolling back onto her back and staring up at the celling.
'Don't apologise.' He replies softly. She hears the shower start running and instantly her hand reaches down to rest on her abdomen.
'Poor daddy's had to throw all his shower gels out now, will you just give me a break?' She whispers, her thumb rubbing small circles on the patch of bare skin where her shirt has risen slightly. Within a few minutes Wilmer makes his way back into the room with a towel wrapped around his waist.
'Better?' He asks leaning down and smiling as she sniffs slightly.
'Mmhmm... I really am sorry; this can't be any fun for you.' She says as he drops the towel and slides on some boxers.
'I bet it's not any fun for you either. Why don't we just agree to stop apologising for the next 32 weeks, okay?' He says climbing into bed beside her.
'Okay.' She replies cuddling into his side as he kisses the top of her head.
'How are you feeling? Other than sick?' He asks.
'I don't know. I just- I wish I knew what was going on in there. We don't know what's going on in there.' She replies and he nods his head.
'Why don't we try book a private scan?' He suggests causing her to glance up at him.
'Can we?' She says.
'Of course we can. I'll get the laptop and see what we can find.' He replies smiling.

'Oh my...' Demi says, tears filling her eyes as she stares at the screen containing a picture of their unborn baby.
'See that flickering? That's babies heartbeat and everything looks perfect.' The nurse says smiling.
