Pregnancy is rough; forty weeks of body changes and preparing for a tiny human you haven't even met yet. Follow Demi and Wilmer on that journey as they prepare to meet their first baby and on the bumpy journey which follows.
twelve months old. 20lbs 9oz. Can say a few more words including hi, bye, no and KiKi. Can walk unsupported and absolutely loves dancing to music. Loves story time before bed.
'Look where we are, baby girl... We're at Disneyland.' Demi says smiling as she lifts Pearl out of the carseat.
'Our room is ready. We can go up and check it out then I'll bring the bags up later if you like?' Wilmer says making his way towards the car.
'Okay.' She replies smiling. Balancing Pearl on her hip, she locks the car door and quickly makes her way over to Wilmer.
'What time are your family getting here at?' He asks causing Demi to smile.
'Well they're not actually coming until tomorrow. I wanted today to be just about the three of us just like it was a year ago.' She replies.
'We'll have a great time.' He says and she nods her head.

'Oh my... Did you arrange this?' Demi asks as she makes her way into the hotel suite.
'No. I- Wait a minute.' Wilmer says moving to the coffee table and picking up the paper attached to a large Minnie balloon.
Pearl, On behalf of everyone here at Disneyland we'd like to wish you a very happy birthday. Please enjoy these gifts from us all. Minnie & friends x
'That's so sweet!' Demi says smiling as Pearl instantly reaches out for the large Minnie Mouse balloon.
'Is that a balloon for our birthday girl?' Demi says smiling. Wilmer passes the balloon over to Pearl as Demi adjusts her before placing her down on the floor.
'It's crazy to think that this time last year I probably had a tiny little Pearl curled up on my chest and now she's walking and talking.' Demi admits and Wilmer nods his head.
'This year has gone by so quickly.' He says.

ddlovato : ONE YEAR OLD! My sweet, angelic Pearl Jane Valderrama is one year old. This past year has been quite possibly one of the most difficult but most rewarding years of my life. Watching this little lady, who is half me and the half the man I love, grow and discover this world has been even better than I imagined. Baby girl, I love you more than words can even describe 💕💕
Sliding her phone into her pocket, Demi can't help but smile as she glances over at Wilmer and Pearl who are both asleep on the bed. They had a small tea party for Pearl's party at the weekend before coming to stay at Disneyland for a few days.
'What time is it?' Wilmer mumbles as Demi turns to make her way back out to the lounge area of their suite.
'A little after two... Go back to sleep if you want, Wil.' Demi says and he shakes his head.
'No. Do you think she'll be okay if we go through to the lounge?' He asks glancing down at Pearl who's sleeping on her stomach.
'Probably. Just stick a pillow at either side of her.' She replies. She watches as he does what she says before getting off the bed and following Demi through to the lounge.
'How are you feeling?' He asks as they both sit down on the sofa and she curls into his side.
'Good, really good. I was thinking we could do dinner and then maybe go for a walk later? I don't want to do any parks or anything today.' She admits and he nods his head.
'That sounds perfect to me.' He replies kissing the side of her head.
'We survived our first year over parenting.' She says smiling.
'Barely.' Wilmer replies causing her to bite her bottom lip.
'I'm sorry, that was unnecessary. We did survive and you have been absolutely amazing... The thing I've enjoyed most about this year is watching your bond with her grow.' He says and she smiles slightly.
'I know this year has been tough but I think it's made us stronger as a couple and a family.' Demi replies.
'So do I. This year wasn't the best but I promise that next year is going to be even better. We're going to travel more and show our little Pearl the world, okay?' Wilmer says and she nods her head.
'We will. I want her to see the whole world and everything it has to offer.' She replies causing him to smile.
'Then we'll show her the world.' He says.
'What if we can't have any more kids, Wilmer?' She asks quietly.
'Would that really be a bad thing? I know you want more kids and I do to but Pearl is absolutely amazing and if it comes to it we can adopt? Plenty of kids out there need a home.' He replies.
