Pregnancy is rough; forty weeks of body changes and preparing for a tiny human you haven't even met yet. Follow Demi and Wilmer on that journey as they prepare to meet their first baby and on the bumpy journey which follows.
one month old. 6lbs 7oz. Loves being cuddled and hates tummy time.
'Hi, my precious...' Sirah says smiling as she lifts Pearl out of her bassinet and into her arms and settling her against her chest.
'I'll just be two minutes, just going to shove my hair up.' Demi says.
'Okay... Take as long as you need; Auntie Sirah's missed her Pearly cuddles.' Sirah replies smiling. Making her way into her closet Demi sits down at her dressing table and begins to brush her hair. Wilmer went back to work yesterday for the first time since Pearl has born and to say Demi missed him would be an understatement; being consistently together for a month and then being apart for like twelve hour filming days is awful!
'Do you think Wilmer will propose?' Sirah asks standing at the door gently rocking Pearl from side to side.
'I don't think so, not anytime soon anyway.' Demi replies glancing over her shoulder as she brushes her hair back.
'Why not?' Sirah asks and Demi shrugs her shoulders.
'I don't know, I just don't think he will. I think we've not been back together for that long and I just don't think marriage is for Wilmer.' Demi replies.
'He might surprise you.' Sirah says.
'What do you want to do today?' Demi asks.
'I don't know; I thought I'd leave that up to you.' Sirah replies.
'I need to pop out to get some bottles and things but other than that I'm not fussed.' Demi says smiling as she watches Sirah adjust the newborn in her arms.
'We could go to the store, pick up lunch and then just have a chill day? Movies, chocolate?' Sirah suggests.
'Sounds perfect to me.' Demi says.
'Do you ever look at her and think oh shit I've actually got a real life human to be responsible for?' Sirah asks glancing down at the baby.
'All the time. It completely baffles me that she's actually mine.' Demi admits.

'What do you need from here?' Sirah asks as they make their way into the large baby store.
'I need some bottles; we're going to try her on a bottle in a few weeks so Wilmer can do some of the feeds and I can maybe get some sleep.' Demi replies glancing down at where Pearl is fast asleep in her stroller.
'Are you going to give her formula then?' Sirah asks and Demi shakes her head.
'No, I've been expressing whenever I can and we'll just give her that if she'll even take the bottle.' Demi replies.
'How are you finding Wilmer being back at work?' Sirah asks.
'It's been tough; not because I'm struggling or anything but after spending so long being constantly together I just miss him... Does that sound really cheesy?' Demi says causing Sirah to smile.
'I think what you two have together is amazing. To spend six years together and then split up must be one of the hardest things but then to slowly find your way back together is amazing... It's clear you two are meant to be.' Sirah replies.
'I just needed time to figure out who I was.' Demi says quietly.

Placing her phone down on the counter Demi can't help but smile as she hears the front door open and close; minutes later Wilmer makes his way into the kitchen carrying a large bunch of flowers.
'For my love.' He says holding them out to her.
'Oh Wilmer, they're beautiful...' She replies smiling.
'How's my girls doing?' He asks kissing the top of her head before leaning down and kissing Pearl who is snuggly against Demi's chest in the Moby wrap.
'Mmm, this one has been a bit fussy for the last hour or so.' She replies. She watches as he places the flowers on the counter before wrapping his arm around her waist.
'I love you two.' He says softly.
'We love you too.' She replies resting her head on his chest.
