Pregnancy is rough; forty weeks of body changes and preparing for a tiny human you haven't even met yet. Follow Demi and Wilmer on that journey as they prepare to meet their first baby and on the bumpy journey which follows.
thirty weeks. baby is around 15.7 inches and the size of a zucchini.
'Demi? What's the matter?' Wilmer asks running his hand over his eyes as he wakes to find Demi sitting at the edge of the bed.
'I don't wanna give birth in the car.' She cries as he moves to sit beside her.
'What? Where is this coming from? You're not going to give birth in the car.' He says shaking his head.
'I-I had a dream... It takes over half an hour to get there. What if we don't make it to the hospital on time?' She asks and he wraps his arm around her shoulders.
'We're going to make it to the hospital on time, I promise. Do you want to maybe do a practice hospital run just so you can maybe relax a bit?' He asks and she nods her head.
'Okay. Why don't you put some pants on and we'll go?' He suggests glancing at the clock. It's only 4:15am but he knows Demi will never go back to sleep while she's still worrying.
'I'm sorry if I woke you up.' She says quietly and he shakes his head.
'I'm glad you woke me; wouldn't want you sitting working yourself up for no reason.' He replies.
'I do love you.' She says softly causing him to smile.
'I'm glad.' He replies and she raises her eyebrows at him.
'I love you too.' He says.

'See we'll be fine.' Wilmer says as he pulls into the hospital carpark and glances over at Demi.
'I'm sorry, I just- I had a dream and I panicked.' She admits causing him to shake his head.
'How many times have I told you that you don't need to apologise. I am here for whatever you need, okay? Regardless of what time it is.' He says linking his fingers through hers.
'I think it's just all becoming so real... I know that sounds ridiculous because I'm like the size of a house but I just- I don't know. We've picked out her name and we've decorated the nursery.' She says causing him to smile.
'It does feel real now, doesn't it? Only ten weeks to go and she'll be here.' He replies and she glances down at her stomach.
'Or twelve, if she's late.' She says.
'Oh...' She mumbles pulling his hand and placing it on her stomach.
'I will never get over that feeling.' He admits feeling their unborn daughter moving underneath their hands. They sit in silence for a few minutes, just concentrating on the movement before Demi yawns.
'We've got that event today... I'm gonna need some sleep before it.' She says and he nods his head.
'Let's get you home.' He replies.
________
thirty-six weeks.
baby is around 18.7 inches and the size of a papaya.
Sitting on the bed, Demi grins as her hands cradle her stomach and Sirah snaps a few shots. She never intended on having maternity pictures done but Sirah offered to take a few in the comfort of her own home which Demi loved the idea of.
'Are you okay like that? Comfortable?' Sirah asks and Demi nods her head.
'Yeah, I'm fine.' Demi replies smiling. She glances up to find Wilmer looking at her with the most adorable look on his face, a look for pure love and adoration.
'You look beautiful, nena.' He says softly.
'Thank you.' She almost whispers. Over the past few weeks her bump has grown a tremendous amount and she's struggled to deal with the numerous changes her body is going through but at this moment in time she feels complete amazement at what her body can and is doing.
'Do you want to maybe get on the bed and I'll take a few pictures of the two of you?' Sirah suggests and Wilmer nods his head. Kicking his shoes off he climbs onto the bed behind Demi and wraps his arms around her waist. Instantly she leans back into him and he kisses the top of her head.
'Perfect, just keep doing whatever comes natural.' Sirah says.

'So these are the ones I've got.' Sirah says pulling the pictures up on her laptop.
'I love that one!' Demi admits gesturing to the screen and Sirah nods her head.
'You look beautiful; well you look beautiful in all of them but you just look so happy and carefree in this one. I can send you this one just now if you want?' Sirah suggests and Demi nods her head.
'I really can't thank you enough for this, Sirah. I love that we're going to have these pictures to look back on when she's born.' Demi says causing Sirah to shake her head.
'You don't have to thank me. I'd be more than happy to take some pictures of the three of you when she arrives.' Sirah replies causing Demi to smile.
'I'd really like that.' She admits.
'Can I post this on insta?' She asks gesturing to the picture which Sirah has sent her.
'Post it wherever you like.' Sirah replies smiling.

ddlovato : The past few weeks I've felt extremely self-conscious about my ever changing body and decided I didn't want maternity pictures done but I'm so glad I changed my mind. Getting these pictures done by the wonderful sirahshoots was absolutely amazing. I felt so much more comfortable than I would've if I had got them done by anyone else!
Standing up Demi makes her way into the kitchen and grabs a bottle of water before beginning to make her way back to the living room where Sirah is beginning to go through and edit the pictures.
'Sirah...' Demi says softly as she stops just inside the living room, one hand placed on her stomach and the other leaning on the wall.
'What's up?' Sirah asks glancing up at her friend.
'I-I think my waters just broke.' Demi replies quietly.
So since y'all know the baby is a girl and we're so close to meeting her; do you have any name guesses? I have her name picked out, first and middle but I'd love to know what you think. Both names are pretty classic names, not unique.
