Vepar was a demon. Jessica was a human. Jessica didn't know what was gonna happen next. She unleashed a demon. A. Demon. Was the demon going to put a curse on her? Will the demon drag her to the depths of Hell? Jessica didn't know and that's what she feared. She didn't know her fate. What will happen to her?
Vepar realized that Jessica became tensed and paler. Jessica's blood ran cold when Vepar's eyes pierced her icy blue ones. Vepar's flaming red hand landed on Jessica's shoulder. Blood red eyes met icy blue ones. Vepar licked her lips, revealing her forked tongue. Jessica gulped. Vepar smirked and grabbed her wrists while saying, "Time to rise."
Jessica's POV
I looked into her deep red eyes. In a flash my surroundings changed, I was back in my apartment again. I turned around and saw the little black door open. I sat down on the carpet and closed it. I turned around and looked up to meet the blood red eyes of Vepar. She looks at me and smirks. She says, "Boo." I roll my eyes and look away. I could hear her chuckle.
I turn around and asked, "What's next?". She looks straight into my eyes. And smiles. Surprisingly, it's not a smirk. She clears her throat and says, "Oh dear human, what do you think is next? I'm a demon, from the depths of Hell. A monster from everyone's nightmares. I'm here to see you suffer and to break you down, piece...by...piece....". I could feel the color drain from my face. Well, what did I expect? She is a demon...She can erase my existence in a millisecond. At any given time. At any given moment.
Suddenly I feel my blood run cold. Vepar was smirking now. One of her hands on her hip and the the other in the air pointing at me. She closes her eyes and tilts her head while saying, "Let's see you float...". In the blink of an eye, I felt as if someone was grabbing my neck and lifting me from the floor. My hands went flying to my neck immediately to try to pry the hands there. But there was no hands grabbing my neck.
I looked at Vepar's face with her eyes now open. I stared right into her eyes and gently smiled. I know what she was probably expecting. She was expecting me to fight back and try to stop her from strangling me. But I let my hands fall to my side. I smiled gently and closed my eyes. She thinks I fear death? Vepar must think I don't crave death. Vepar doesn't know me, for death is the thing I crave most.
I heard her sharp breath. And in a blink of an eye, my feet were touching the ground again. I opened my eyes again and kept my small smile. I saw her eyebrows furrowed as she was wearing a scowl. She opened her mouth, but closed it a second later. Vepar cleared her throat and said, "What was that?". Vepar didn't expect it. She didn't expect that the human she was dealing with could care less about dying. I rolled my eyes.
I looked at her while saying, "Kill me. I'm not afraid of dying. As a matter of fact, I want to die.". Vepar's eyes widened and a second later, her eyes narrowed. I changed my small smile into smirk. Her eyebrows furrowed even more if that was even possible. I rolled my eyes once more and turned around, searching for my clock. Once my eyes read the time, they went wide. The clock read, "7:37 P.M.". I simply couldn't believe it. "7:37 P.M." was the time that I saw last. It was as if I hadn't gone anywhere.
August 25th, 7:37 P.M.
Somehow time didn't pass while I was in Hell. I was simply scowling now. I was thinking of the fact that a demon thought I feared death. Shouldn't they be able to see through people or something? I started smirking once more. I had fooled a demon. A demon tried to kill me and I fooled her.
