I wake up that morning in my new room feeling like there's a new chapter coming. I get up, take a shower, and head down stairs to watch some family Guy. After a few hours of watching tv I get a text from Ca'Tye.
Tye: Hey, beautiful ;-)
Me: Sup handsome ;-p
Tye: juss chillin. You?
Me: Same.
Tye: We still on for tonight?
Me: Hell yea. Where r we meeting?
Tye: Aventura mall?
Me: Kk. let's meet outside of the cheesecake factory. By the valet stand.
Tye: No problem. Are you sure you dont need me to pick you up?
me: I'm telling you, I'm good.
We finish our convo and text our goodbyes. I run upstairs and get dressed. After an hour of throwing things on and off I decide on a pair of leather leggings and a high low red, blue, purple and black Aztec patterned shirt with a cute pair of black and gold sandals. I throw my dreads up in a high pony tail with my bangs out and head out the door.
I pull out the garage with my music blasting. I have never been so free in my whole life.
After a 20 minute drive I arrive at Aventura and pull up to the valet stand behind Ca'tye's Camero. He quickly spots me and walks over to my drivers side and opens the door.
"Hey beautiful" Says Ca'Tye smiling.
"Hey handsome" I say while stepping out of the car.
"Is this you?!"
"Oh the car? Yea it's me."
"Damn, who did you steal it from?"
"I don't steal for your info. My mom gave it to me." Ca'Tye stands there and stares at me with confusion. "I meant my new mom. Not the crack head who kidnapped me."
"You were kidnapped?"
"It's a long story, and I honestly don't wanna talk about it. All I wanna do is hang out with you and have a problem free day. "
"I can help you with that" Ca'Tye says with his flirtatious smile. He leans in and plants a sweet kiss right on my lips. After a few seconds I pull away and smile.
"Boy let's go before you get me in trouble."
"That's not such a bad idea" He says while following me inside the mall.
We walk to the AMC theater and pay for our tickets. Our movie doesn't start for another hour, so we head to the food court.
We decide to grab some food to eat. Ca'Tye grabs some fries and a burger. I decide to just have some fries and a wild berry smoothie.
While I'm eating I notice Tye just staring at me.
"What?" I say taking a sip of my smoothie.
"Nothing." Tye says looking down at his food.
"Nah, it has to be something. Is there something on my face?"
"Actually, yeah. You have ketchup on your face. " He says chuckling.
I quickly pull out my mirror and look at my face in it. "I don't see anything."
"It's right there." He says while leaning in. But instead of pointing it out he puts ketchup on my nose.
"Omg! Tye!" I look at him with a sly smile and throw fries at him. We both start laughing when I hear a familiar voice speak.
"Look at thing 1 and her boy toy thing 2. Aren't they just the cutest thing. Makes me wanna gag."
