Chapter 34

"I can't get in there Jc ...I don't know if she'll hurt herself!" Jasmine's words rang through the phone, chilling me down to the bone.

"STOOPPPP!!!!!!!!!"Bryanna shrieked out again banging her hands against the wall. All I could was wait and watch her through the glass, as the tears continued to pour down my face.

"Nooo PLEASE!!!" She screamed hitting the wall again as more tears spilled out."What's going on?!" I turned quickly to the sound of the voices to see none other than Jc, Sam, Kian, and Connor.Wiping my cheek with the back of my hand I drew in a breath, "She's freaking out and panicing. Something must have triggered it... I thought it was gone.." I looked down as a sob escaped my mouth. A figure squatted down to my level and gently pulled my chin up with their thumb and forefinger, "Jasmine, you need to explain to us so we can help her.." Sam and Kian softly spoke. I looked past him and saw 2 guys with the most horrid and worried faces looking through the clear glass."Jc you know about Rosie right?" I managed to ask.

"Bryanna's cousin who passed away right?" I nodded in response."She didn't tell you everything.. She was in the car with her when it happened. They were laughing and joking when a truck full on hit the side and they lost control. Rosie was killed and Bryanna walked away with only a sprung wrist and a few bruises. For 3 months after the accident she was still having nightmares about it. Then they seemed to become reality and she would feel as if she was living through it all over again. That only happened if something triggers it off in her head. I thought everything was fine.. After only 2 weeks in therapy she didn't have to go anymore. I-I-I don't understand.. There's noth-" I froze."Y-Your wrist. That rose on your w-wrist!" I looked at the drawing on Kian's wrist as I tried to control my cries."Get in there! Now!!" I screamed, pointing to the locked door while I banged on the large window that allows you to see inside the room.

"THESE WALLS ARE CLOSING IN ON ME... STOPP!!!" Bryanna let out a scream to herself, slapping her hand against the opposite wall.After 2 kicks Jc was able to get the door to fall to the ground as we rushed into the room.

" to Restrain her!" I choked on my tears. Jc wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, pulling her back.

"GET AWAY!" She wiggled around kicking and screaming until they finally were able to pin her down to the the ground. I sat on her stomach, strangling her waist. Jc, Connor, Sam, and Kian fighting to keep her from thrashing around.I lightly put my hand over her mouth and looked into her tear-filled eyes as she looked back into mine, "Calm down.. It wasn't real Bryanna.." She blinked and finally stopped violently screaming which caused the boys to let her go."She's not here.. You're not in that car.. You're with me. Just me right now." I knew she hadn't realized the boys were next to her yet. The 2 times this happened before she was too scared. Just like she is now. In her eyes I'm the only person in the world with her. When she finally calms down she begins to see who was crowding around her the whole time.

"I-It's not real?" It came out more of a question and I nodded in response. She slowly closed her eyes as tears silently rolled down her cheeks."Now, Connor, Sam and Kian are gonna stay here with you.. I'll be right back I promise." She nodded.We all got up and I grabbed Jc's hand pulling him out of the room. I knew he was going to have questions.

"Storytime." I sighed looking up at Jc, his eyes watery."When Bryanna was 16 she dated this guy named Shawn Mendes Of course, he was great to her in the beginning but after a month in he became abusive in that relationship. Don't worry she didn't put up with it at all after the first hit he have her and she punched him and kicked him in the balls so it really didn't last long. After Rosie's death Shawn got mad at Bryanna and they got into a huge arguement. Being the awesome overprotective bestfriend I am, the whole time I was watching from the staircase. He slapped her so hard she fell to the ground but for straight up and was punching him back. When she did he got down and fell and then he pulled a rose out from behind his back holding it in front of her to see. Since Rosie's name was what it was, her favorite flower was a red rose. After seeing it she passed out with tears. I rushed downstairs and tried to wake her up but she didn't. All of a sudden her eyes flew open and she drew in a huge gasp. It honestly scared the shit out of me. She started looking around frantically and began to panic. It soon became an attack exactly like the one you just saw. She's only ever had 2 but this would make it her third time. Everytime she sees a rose she remembers Shawn holding one in front of her face then it automatically switches over to the accident. Like if she were in the car and re-living that whole moment."Jc opened his mouth to speak but I cut him off, "It's ok. You don't have to say anything, I know it's alot to take in. C'mon let's just see how Bryanna's doing." I stood up to walk back to the room Bryanna was in with the other two.I walked into the room with Jc by my side and automatically noticed Bryanna's smile. They were all laughing about a joke Connor had made."Hiya" I softly spoke.She rushed over and engulfed me in a huge hug, "Thank you Jasmine. You always seem to be there for me at the right moment."Isn't that what bestfriends are for?" I smiled after we pulled away from the hug. I immediately saw her eyes look past me and I knew who she saw."Jc.." She began.He rushed towards her, picking her up and planting a kiss on her lips, "Jasmine told me everything."

"I'm sorry about all of that and that guy Shawn will pay one day I love you Bryanna.." Please Don't be. There's no reason for it." I tried to tell Jc but he wouldn't listen."We'll leave you guys alone" Connor and Kian smiled. Sam grabbed my hand leading me out of the room with him and Connor and Kian.

As I walked farther away I could still hear faint voices from Jc and Bryanna and then a light laugh. That's when I knew Everything will be okay because they make eachother Happy and we all saw them kissing passionately we were all eavesdropping.

Chapter 35

"Bryannaaaa" Jc singed.

"Yes Jc?" I asked looking up from my suitcase."Can I take you out on a date before we go to the airport back to Texas?" He said, grinning at the word date."Where too?" I began to play along."Taco beelll" He smirked, grabbing me by the waist."May I get a baja blaasst?" I giggled, wrapping my arms around his neck."Of course." He began leaning foward for a kiss.

"Then yes." I jerked my head to the side, his lips landing on my cheek.

Laughing, I said, "I win."

"Not so fast.." He stated before throwing me over his shoulder.

"Flight to San Antonio, Texas now boarding"

"I'll see you soon Jasmine.. two weeks? FaceTime me, text, and call me everyday!" I demanded as I pulled her into a huge hug."I will!" She giggled as she wiped her cheeks from the tears falling. Moving on I stopped in front of Sam, "Screw it, just hug me!" I cried, extending my arms out. "Let me know if anything happens between you two you know Jasmine and you hehe," I whispered in his ear before pulling away and moving onto Connor. "Con da bon!" I laughed. Wiping my tears away, he replied, "Bre Bre!" After a long bear hug I moved onto Ricky. "There's my sassy girl!" He snapped his fingers before wrapping his arms around me. "Guuurrl" I snapped my fingers before turning to Kian. "Kian! You made it!" I smiled as I launched myself at him. "Of course! I can't believe you're going back to Texas and Jc-" He was cut off by Sam hitting his chest. "What about Jc..?" I questioned, seeing Jc's eyes popping out. "Nothingg!" Sam laughed it off. I decided to let it go. Stepping back and taking a look at my friends I shook my head smiling, "I'm so glad I met the wonderful O2L. Thanks for everything guys," and we formed a group hug in the middle of the airport. "Tell Trevor to text me too!" I shouted behind me as I heard an echoed, "we will!"My right hand was scooped up and interwined with Jc's as we carried our bags.Back to Texas. Back to my cheating father..

And my mom who I miss....
