Chapter 31

"Goodbye!" Jasmine shooed me with her hand as she skipped off in the other direction.With small steps I began to approach Jc from the side. He sat on the sand with his legs up, elbows propped on his knees, with his head looking off in the opposite direction. I froze in my spot and closed my eyes and held my breath. Building my pathetic courage up I awkwardly cleared my throat. His head snapped to the side facing me. I knew right there my eyes got watery."Uhm..How much does a polar bear weigh..?""Enough to break the ice.." He lightly chuckled to himself as he looked down at his hands.

Taking a few steps closer I slowly lowered myself to sit down next to him in the same position. Legs up, elbows propped on knees.

"Jc listen.."Yea?" He continued me on, not making eye contact."I ran away from all my problems. When the whole issue with my parents broke out I took off running. Just like I did to you. I don't mean to but it's a split-second reaction... Can you please.. look at me?" My voice cracked at the end. His head raised slightly as his eyes met mine happily."Wanna know a secret?" The corner of his mouth barely lifting into a smile which signaled for me to go on."I've always liked you Jc the first time I saw you."

Chapter 32

"YOU!" Jasmine shouted as she pushed through the front doors of a small cafe.

I put my hands up in surrender as Jc began burst out laughing. She rushed towards our table and plopped herself down right in front of us."Are you dating now?!" She shook the table trying to make us answer. I turned towards Jc right when he turned towards me."Yes."Ahhhh! You're welcome" She winked😉 at us.

"Thank you?" It came out more as a playful question."THE amazing Jasmine was such a huge help. Finally you two darlings are together!"Aha thank you Jasmine" Jc chuckled.

"Well I gotta go film my video, catch you later babe." He kissed me on the lips softly before strolling towards the exit.Finally Jc and I are now considered a couple. I can't stop smiling about it at all. Jasmine is probably the most hyped about it. I believe it's my turn to butt into her love life now. Eh eh? Sam? We all know they got a thing going on. I finished eating after Jc left and Jasmine just picked at my food eating it. My head shot back to the voice that just yelled out."Cuz cuzzzzz!" Jas giggled back before the girl appeared by our side. The bottom of her hair dyed, her makeup done greatly, and a pretty decent outfit.

"What's up man?" She replied.

"With my lovely bestfriend. Have you Meet her yet?" Jasmine asked as the girl shook her head no."Bryanna this is Lucy my cousin, she lives here in California. Lucy this is Bryanna my bestfriend in the whole world. You should know, I always talk about her! She's here visiting Cali with her NOW boyfriend and his friends." She introduced us. Lucy gave me a warm smile and spoke,"Awesome! Is the heat killing you as much as it kills me?" I couldn't help but laugh. I can already tell she has such an amazing personality."Heat actually doesn't bother me, I just stay at ease. I went on vacation to Arizona last year for a week and I was sweating bullets. It's all good tho" I grinned."Lucky. Well I gotta get going. Peaceskies broskis!" She yelled back at us as she jogged down the sidewalk."I'm hungry again, froyo I asked?"You're always eating"

"Pshh so awesome"Whatever cmon!" Jasmine slapped my arm as she continued to play Candy Crush on her phone.

Chapter 33

"LUCY! WHAT NOOOOO!!!" I continued to scream at the tv displaying the game Mario Cart.

"WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU! WE HAVE TO START OVER!" She faked cried before taking the controller from my hand."No oreos?!" I could hear Jasmine yelled over at us from the pantry."YOU GOT LEGS! GET-TO-WALKIN BEOTCH!" Lucy yelled over her shoulder before starting the game up again."Can I have a ride back to the O2L house in like an hour? Jc wants to take me somewhere," I announced glancing up at my phone."ooooooh" They giggled in sync."Cmon pleasee?" I begged."Fine if you say so." She fake rolled her eyes with a grin."You're going like THAT?!" Jasmine gasped, walking out of the pantry and over to the couch where we were on."What the hell! I think I look okay!" I pointed my finger towards her."If this is a date we're talking about we're going to make you FABULOUSSSS AND MATCHABLE BECAUSE THATS HOW I ROLE AND SO ARE YOU NOW YOUR GOING ON A DATE OK BRYANNA!" She clapped her hands together."Jasmine. bruh, chill. Don't worry Bryanna I'll still drive you," Lucy winked😉 over at me because Jasmine will put you on torture mode when it comes to a date."Thanks." I answered.

"Lemme play this round" Jasmine stated before snatching the controller from her cousin."I'll get the chips!" Darting up from the couch, I skipped to the kitchen."Can you believe me and Jc are going back to Texas in 3 days?" I plopped myself down onto the couch with an AriZona Tea in my hands."The 3 weeks you've been here have gone by so slow. In a good way though." Jasmine replied."Are you gonna stay here some extra time with your cousin Lucy?" I asked before taking a gulp of my glorious tea."Yea my mom said she's okay with it since me and Lucy don't get much cousin time."I get what you mean.. " I began to trail off."Hey hey.. I know why you're getting upset. You do know it's ok to cry, right? You don't have to hold all your feelings in. Don't deny that you miss Rosie." Remember? I had a cousin who passed away a year ago in a car accident..

"Uh-hum well I better tell Lucy to give me a ride." I cleared my throat trying to stand up. Before I fully could Jasmine grabbed my wrist to stop and turn me around."Bryanna. Stop. Stop running from your problems and emotions just let it all out."
