Chapter 38

Back to my old life with my boyfriend Shawn! BRYANNA POV

"Shawn, can we carve a pumpkin when we get home?! That one looked so cool!" I looked over at all the pumpkins by the Haunted House entrance.

He smirked, "only if you go in the Haunted House."I immediately shook my head vigorously. "You know what happened last time."Stop being a baby. I wanna go in now cmon." He ordered, grabbing my hand.I jerked my hand away from his and stood my ground, "I said NO!!!!.""What?" Stepping closer, I took a step back. This always happens , things would always escalate so quickly. Shawn we're in public, please. Let's just go get candy" My voice dropped as I looked around me."Does it look like I give a shit?" He growled."Stop.. People are beginning to stare damn it. Let's just go!" I whisper-shouted."Don't talk to me like that" His hand reached for my wrist as he began twisting it in front of my stomach where no one could see. My eyes watered and I tried to control my whimpers and urges to kick him I the balls and really beat him down.but I didn't so we wouldn't make a scene.

"You're hurting me..." I looked down, as a tear fell and hit the grass.

BETH'S POV on what happened with Bryanna And Shawn's story and Beth's Story!

Bryanna: My eyes slowly fluttered open as I began to try to make out anything. The first thing I noticed was a body hovered over me and intense bright blue eyes looking at me. I instantly scooted up and as far away as I could. Where I am, who that is, what time is is, is all unknown to me at the moment."Wait! Don't be scared. I'm Beth. Do you remember anything?" I heard a familiar soft voice.

"Beth..? The girl that was getting bullied...? Why were they doing that to you? Where are we and what happened." I was confused and scared so all I could do was question."It's a long story..Would you like a drink before I start?" She sighed."I'm fine, can you explain now?" I may seem pushing but who wouldn't be right now "Well if we're talking about everything, I guess I should start from the beginning.. Those three boys you saw? They constantly abuse me and insult me. I can't tell anyone either because they said they would know and I'll regret it. It started when I broke up with Jake. Yeah, I dated Jake, for 7 months actually. Michael and josh are his best friends. The big trio at school.. I was going through a hard time dealing with family issues and keeping up with school work. My cousin who I hadn't seen in years came to live with us after being kicked out. He helped me catch up in the Alegebra I never learned. Jake didn't understand and took it the wrong way. He thought I was being a 'whore' and cheating on him. We always became distant due to me always rejecting our dates because my father was a drunk jerk and having to make sure him and my brother didn't fight like always. We ended the relationship on bad terms. Jake thought it was because I was seeing someone else. To this day he still doesn't believe it was my cousin. The rough part in my life had ended thankful. My dad sobered up and apologized for everything. My cousin went to university and I was able to pass my classes. My brother wasn't angry at my dad anymore, he let it go. But then came the breakup and the flying insults and abuse. Michael and Josh joined on the fun.

Later on that day with Bryanna and Shawn!

Then it all leads up to what just happened a few hours ago. Beth: I was at the park and they found me and decided I should get a lesson on how worthless I am... You didn't have to help me. There's no reason to help someone like me. But thank you.. Shawn did hit you hard and I couldn't leave you. So I went as fast as I could to my house to get my brother. On our way back we saw you and Shawn arguing then bam you hit him he hit you and arguing. After that he took off... so me and my brother brought you home with us. I still have to explain everything to him but I can't. I've never told anyone except you just right now.." She ended and we sat there."I-I don't know what to say.. I'm so sorry.." I couldn't believe what I heard. It was so much to take it in such small time."It's okay" She chuckled, "It's the middle of the night, let's get some rest" She smiled before laying back down.I smiled back and turned on my side to sleep.
