Brendon's POV

Yes, it was hot and I loved it. Kissing Dallon was the highlight of my entire week. The kiss lingered on my lips, I lay in my bunk where I had retreated after running away, just thinking. Dallon came to see if I was okay after about 10 minutes of the incident, but was understanding when I asked him to give me some time. I looked at my phone for the time, 3:45 am. I poked my head out of my bunk to find darkness and the sound of the others snoring. I decided it would be safe to get out so I did. I went to the kitchen area of the bus and poured myself some juice. I took my glass and stepped off the bus as quietly as I could.

"Hey" I quickly spun around to find one our very close friends also standing outside his bus with a glass that was probably beer instead of juice.

"Hey man, what are you doing out here so late?" I went over to where he was and we both just sat where we stood.

"Boyfriend troubles, just a minor argument but he's tired and grumpy so I decided it wasn't worth it to bicker over who gets to sleep on the side of the bunk closest to the wall..." He looked up at me with a smile. "And you?"

I took a sip from my juice, " well actually, I came out here to think. Maybe you can help?" I asked hopefully.

"I can try, shoot."

I smiled and sat up straight, "alright, so you know Dallon right?" He nodded and I told him what had happened between us. When I finished he was looking down at his beer. I waited silently, allowing him some time to collect his thoughts.

"Well Bren, sounds like you both need to accept that you like each other and do something about it. AND by the way you're talking about Dallon, I'd say you're as in love as I am. Don't be afraid to tell him, talk to him, the way I hear it, he loves you back."

"You think so?" I sighed deeply, "I'm gonna talk to him, I can do this, I mean the worst that can happen is he will reject me right? I can do this, YEAH! I'll do it, I'll tell him in the morning!"

"Good! Just don't argue about sleeping closest to the wall or you'll be out here with me again." He chuckled.

"Did Pete kick you out?" I asked.

"No I just don't like conflict." He said shyly.

I smiled, "Thanks Patrick, goodnight."

"You're welcome! Oh and Bren? Be bold, go climb in his bunk and sleep there. He'd like that."

I nodded and waved goodbye at him. I approached Dal's bunk and slowly climbed in, he stirred as I put my arm around his waist. He opened his eyes and looked at me with a confused look. I kissed his nose and squeezed him slightly before he shut his eyes with a smile. "Patrick is a genius", was all I could think before drifting off.
