They thought you were dead. Well, they thought wrong.
Listen.
You've awaken from a long nap.
You look around, but the only thing surrounding you is darkness.
You stick your hands out directly in front of you.
There appears to be a door.
You feel around for a keyhole.
You feel nothing.
Just the hard wooden door.
You start to panic, remembering that you are claustrophobic.
You pound on the door as hard as you can, trying to remember all the past events that happened.
You struggle to think.
You pound harder and harder on the door, hoping it will open.
You scream for help.
No one helps.
No one answers.
You hope that someone will just listen.
But no one does.
That's when you remember.
You were lying in a hospital bed after a bad accident.
You had just awoken from a coma.
Right as you open your eyes, the doctors take of life support.
You pass out.
That's all you remember.
You know that everyone thinks you're dead.
When in reality, you're alive.
That's when pieces come together to complete the puzzle.
After the doctors took you off of life support, you pass out.
Everyone thinks you're dead.
They had a funeral for your passing.
They put you in a coffin.
They buried you six feet below the ground.
The question about how long you've been out loiters in your head.
But for now, you must find a way out.
You've been buried alive.
And you know no one will come and find you.
No one will come and save you.
No one will know you're still alive.
No one will hear you screams.
No one will listen.
No one will care anymore.
Now you will die.
No food or water.
Your breathing is becoming slower.
You are losing oxygen.
Your vision begins to blur.
Darkness wraps its arms around you.
You truly pass with one thought still lingering in your mind.
You were buried alive.
