You looked at the policewoman. She couldn't be serious, could she? BF/N was probably in another room, right? She wasn't gone, because she couldn't be. Because that would mean...that would mean that the night in the apartment had actually happened, and that was not possible.
"Y/N?" Dan said softly, worried. "Are you... Can you hear me?"
You just nodded. Your whole body felt numb. BF/N was kidnapped. No. NO!!! You started to cry. Dan hugged you the best he could, and Phil gave you something to wipe your tears with. But it was clear that they were shocked too.
"Do you... I mean do you have any clues on who did it?" Phil said, with a voice that suggested he tried very hard to stay calm. You couldn't even hear the woman's reply. You just hugged Dan and tried to find some comfort, even though you couldn't stop crying.
When it was time to go home from the hospital, the thought of going back to the apartment you shared with BF/N made you feel sick. "Please" you said turing to Dan and Phil. "Please let me stay with you. I can't go there knowing..." Knowing that somewhere out there was the person that had taken BF/N, and could come back for you. That made you feel even more sick. Both Dan and Phil seemed to have thought in similar lines because they both nodded.
"Yeah, I can't blame you for not wanting to be there right now" Phil said. The fact that BF/N was gone made you less awkward around each other, mainly because that overshadowed everything else.
"You can sleep on the sofa until we find something else"
The rest of the day you all spent in some sort of fog that wouldn't go away. Knowing that someone was out there and not knowing what had happened to BF/N and her boyfriend made you, Dan and Phil stay together, often being in the same room together all the time. It still didn't seem like enough for you though. It still felt like someone was watching.
