A girl called Sia travels the tropical Alola region to explore a new world of tropical pokemon. Meeting friends along the way, her mission is to become the Champion of battling by training her Pokemon and completing island trials.
Sia and Hau studied, fought three pupils and then returned to the teacher. Teacher: T-that was a- amazing! You two are really strong for beginners. I think you could even beat me! Hau: We should try that! Teacher: Okay. It's on. Sia and Hau both fight the teacher individually and both were successful. Teacher: Impressive! Maybe one of you should teach instead of me! Hau: haha Sia: come on, we should probably get going. Hau: yeah. Teacher: Have a good day. Sia: Thankyou, you too! Hau: Wait where is Lillie. Sia: I don't know. We could try the pier. Hau: Yeah lets look there. Sia and Hau walk out of the training school. Hau sees Lillie walking into a shop and ran after her. Sia didn't follow them. She saw something in the corner of her eye. Two teenagers were shouting in someone's face and looking in their bag. Sia walked onto the pier. She saw a teenage boy with a shoulder bag on, a gold earring, pink hair, bright blue eyes and a smart, brown shirt on. The two other teenagers were dressed in black and white. They turned to Sia. Team skull grunt A: Yo yo yo! What do you think your looking at, huh? The other teenager grabbed Sia by the shirt and pushed her onto the ground. Ilima, the teenage boy with pink hair, put his hand out and helped Sia off the floor.

Ilima: Is there a reason you two are here? Team skull grunt B: We steal Pokemon! It's what we do! Team skull grunt A: Yeah, we're Team Skull, you don't know us! Ilima: And thank goodness for that. Team skull grunt B: The only way we're not gonna steal your Pokemon is if you beat us in a double battle, rich boy! Team skull grunt A: Yeah, there is two of us and one of you. We're gonna win, yo! Ilima: I personally beg to differ. Sia: I'll fight with you. Then the double battle will be fair. Ilima: Delightful! Very kind of you. What did you say your name was? Sia: I'm Sia. Ilima: I'm Ilima, nice to meet you Sia. Team skull grunt A: Can we start yet?! The battle begins. Sia sent out Akari beside Ilima, who sent out Smeargle. Ilima: Alright, this shouldn't take long. Team skull sent out both of their Pokemon and the battle began. Akari used fire fang , which was really effective on the opposite Pokemon. Smeargle defeated the opposite Pokemon as well meaning Sia and Ilima had won. Team skull grunt A: Yo that rich guy has crazy skills, man! Team skull grunt B: This isn't the last of us. We'll be back, rich boy! Team skull left. Ilima turned to Sia. Ilima: That was fun. Thank you for battling with me. Sia: It's fine, I enjoyed it. Your Pokemon is really strong! Ilima: And is yours. Hau and Lillie run over to Sia. Hau: Come on, Sia! Where have you been? Lillie: What happened to your elbow? It's all grazed and cut. Sia: It's fine. Ilima: I'm going to have to go now. I must invite you to my trial. It's a normal type Pokemon trial on route two in verdant cavern. It would be great if you considered coming. I'm sure you will complete it easily. Sia: Okay thanks, bye Ilima! Ilima smiled and waved at Sia as he walked away. Lillie: So what happened? Sia: I battled team skull! Can you believe that? Hau: That's so cool! Lillie: We should go back to the village and tell the professor about toaday.
